I haven’t been feeling good lately, as I was up all night with the shits (I think it was something I ate) but when I finally got to sleep I was rudely awakened by a large Hick truck that sounds like it has a bad muffler. Now normally I would have shot the guy but I was too busy running to the “throne”. So today’s Rant is why the hell do people drive big loud diesel burning trucks and cars? You’ve seen these things; almost as big as a Semi, six tires, huge stacks, roaring like a jet plane, and packed with brain-dead Hillbillies. If it’s a car is usually rusted out or has two colors. (One of which is primer) If their not tearing down the road at double the speed limit, they’re sitting in someone’s yard broken down. These vehicles are a bother, not to mention they’re not environmentally friendly. I am not a tree hugger I just don’t like having my car covered in oil and grease because your smoke bellowing behemoth just car farted on mine. Personally I don’t see the why people have to compensate and spend money they don’t have on a large car that can be see and heard coming. I drive a 4-door Altima, (that cost me only 4,000) and unless I need an oil change you can barely hear it running, My motorcycle makes more noise.(but that’s because the engine isn’t incased in metal) And it gets about 100 miles per squirt of lighter fluid. (Like a Prius only with out the gay) To this day it has never broken down. Sure I’d love to own a Hummer or some big expensive sports car but it’s just not possible or practical. So when you are buying a car think to yourself; How much will gas cost? Will it be costly to maintain? Will my neighbor shoot me if I have to go somewhere at 1 in the morning and my engine woke him up? These are not questions I have to worry about with my Altima. So I suggest you use your brain and make the prudent choice. Excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom. PS Funny note: I just downloaded the newest version of Microsoft Word and when I typed the word Hillbilly one of those pop-ups asked me if I was trying to write to the Welfare office concerning fraud. Hmmm.......
