Good question....I don't have a pic on my profile for a reason that I am going to be teaching and for me that is a discretionary policy but you have a very good point.  There are those who don't post pics and those who do for fraudulent purposes.  For myself, I am not the spectacularly beautiful and would not go for someone just because they have money...to me that is just shallow.  I would want to know about the personality.
