Hello A/all,

The best way to describe me is a Disciplinarian.  That's what my last "mentoree" called me -- I spent the last two years, before I moved to Chicago, in providing guidance and discipline. She was a grad student and liked having me encourage her study habits, reward her success and punish her for any failings. I also made sure she kept to her budget and corrected her behavior, when needed.  We developed a wonderful friendship.

Anyway, I'm new to Chicago and the site wanted to say hello.

Welcome Chicago.  I've done the same for my ex.  Guided  and encouraged her in her work as well as disciplined her.  When punishment was needed I carried that out as well.  It was a long distance relationship and things just did not work out due to the distance.

Thanks for the welcome, Dmsc. The distance thing is hard. But we stillkeep in touch and are friends. I'm hoping to meet a new sub here, though.
