Status: offline 		Me and my play-partner have recently developed an interest in kitty-play, and we've been looking for a human-sized kitty collar. Unfortunately, while I've found quite an abundance of kitty collars on eBay, they've all, obviously, been far too small. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a website that sold kitty collars more suited to human-sized necks? :)

Try looking for dog collars for smaller dogs, and then put a kitty tag on them. They're exactly the same, jsut larger, you can alway take the bells off a kitty collar if that's what you want.

Status: offline 		Go to a pet store, a collar is a collar whether it be for a small to mid size dog or a cat. If anyone looks at you funny for trying them on, you can make up a story about how your pet has the same size neck as your "pet". 

Which, in my case was true for me many years ago. I inherited my puppy's collar after she grew out of it.

Status: offline 		Having a real cat collar (for my own cat) the only difference from a dog collar is the size (it looks the same) and it has a bell on it. I’d just pick up a dog collar at a pet store and then pick up a bell somewhere. They should be having jiggle bells in fabric stores right now, they might also be in colors right now. Which come in different sizes and they look like cat bells, just hook that on to the d-ring on the collar and you’re good to go.

Status: offline 		I have a collar from  Pawstar (www.pawstar.com) you find them under accessories.  They offer clip in ear, tail and collar sets, or you can get them  separately.  I've got a set of ears and a collar with a really big bell, it's so cute. It's a cute website for all kitty lovers.

Status: offline 		The other option is to ask a leatherwoker to make one for you.  Or of course you could go to a costume shop, they sometimes have them there.  I think your best and cheapest option is to go and get a dog collar as previously suggested

Status: offline 		Just an additional note: I know for a fact that right about now, wal-mart is putting out all the fancy crap they get in for the holidays- the stuff that people may not always be willing to splurge on, but they'll do it for christmas.  I used to get VERY nice velvet, leather & imitation leather collars with silver or gem/rhinestone studs on them during the holiday season. If you start looking now, you are more likely to find the really good ones before they are snatched up.

I got my girl one when she and I were together, it was or a smaller dog, it was all rhinestoned and femme and horrid and she loved it. IF you are aiming for kitty-esqe get a thinner collar.
