ORIGINAL: batshalom Well, pahunkboy, what's in real estate vogue now might not be the in thing in 2012. Right now, pay attention to kitchens and baths. Solid surface counters, flat surface range / cooktop, lots of light. Enlarge bathroom, do a deep jetted tub with a separate shower, and again, lots of light. Remove non-load bearing walls if you can to open up the space, and put down shiny pretty hardwoods - keep them glossy. Good luck. If it is ever done- the porch enclosore will have a new wall on the front and 1/2 the side. Stained a charcoal, with the siding on the rest burgandy. This allows me to use fancy patio doors, 3 sets of double windows, an octagon window- and a vent window. The look- sorta chnges the front of the home to be on the side- not the front where the busy street is. That little bit of construction will make the place look newer. I will have one double window left. I wonder what type of saw to scale it down to a single?
