Is anybody planning on attending the "Everything to do with Sex" show next weekend in Toronto (Oct 19-21)?  Or, has anybody been to one of these trade shows in previous years?  If so, how was it?

I'm trying to decide whether it is worth my sub and I booking a day or two off work for or not.

Mebbe. Haven't been before, but I have friends who've gone and they've never complained. Good place if you're looking for freebie trial handouts of things perhaps. I also know some of the local scene folks have done presentations (like BDSM 101, kinda thing). Its just a matter of can you stand being surrounded by soooooo many vanilla types who think they're being daring......??!!

Wow, the products on the website you recommended Maya look really good, but the pricetag is a little out of my league right now.  Still, if I do end up going to the show, I'll definitely check out their booth.  Maybe I'll find a good deal.

And Thinking Kitten, I like the way you think in terms of free handouts.  Now that is more in my price range.  [;)]  As for vanillas, let them come (no pun intended).  Hey whatever makes us all happy, right?  Besides, pretty much all of my friends are vanilla (to my knowledge anyways) and most of them have no idea about my nightlife activities so I'm sure that they would consider me vanilla as well.

Ive been to a couple of them in the past few years, it gets REALLLLLLY busy, and hot too.... I know quite a few people who have done BDSM related "seminars" there and in the last few years they had a BDSM booth there, with local people manning it, but im not sure if they will be doing that this year. I havnt been keeping up sadly.
I tried to get in for vending one year, ...theres a reason you will only find big retailers (in regards to sex stuff) there, its so damn expensive to rent a booth, may of the local artisans just havent got that kind of money....and most of them will show up at the smaller fairs which are well worth going too.  the ETDWSS is fun tho, lots of free condoms in pretty colours and smells,  lots of erotic actors, dancers, models, etc to meet and ogle at. Tons of stuff going on. and tons to buy. But hundreds of people to get thru..its fun, enjoy yourself:)
