Status: offline 		A teen-ager was airlifted to hospital and his father had his nose broken when gatecrashers went on the rampage at a 16th birthday party after details were posted on YouTube, police and media reports said Friday.

More than 100 uninvited teenagers descended on the family house, stole whisky and champagne, smashed windows and started fighting, according to reports.

Engineer David Worthy, 53, was punched in the face when he tried to turn away a group of youths, while his son Stephen, 18, was badly beaten.

When he gets to A&E, it will be full with blokes who've taken a crack in some argument or another.

Level, where I was dragged up, there were about 6 villages in our area where all the lads went to the same school, so we met lasses from other villages at school...they'd invite us over to their village for parties, but we knew the local lads from that village would turn up at some point looking for a brawl....if we were lucky....most times they'd bring the older lads with them who'd left school, and they were able to do a bit more damage.....I suppose we were knocking around with their lasses, and, well, we were taking the piss....strolling into their village thinking we could do as we pleased.

Lads will be lads........it'll be right....

It's Bath, which is in the West Country.

The incident actually occured in Chippenham which is quite close to Much Binding in the Marsh.
Binding is an old Anglo Saxon word for relations with four legged friends.
Funny lot these cuntry folk !

Not so long back a couple went on holiday and let the daughter have a few friends round. Someone posted it on my space or whatever and the house was trashed.

No doubt NG and Seeks turned up

Aye, right enough, UR....fighting is an English past time for (kids). It's always been like that here, expecially among the Working Classes.....just part of living, and when you get to say 15/16 you start channelling your energy into something more productive. We were always brawling when we were kids, there wasn't really an option because every now and again someone would put a challenge in.....my dad started taking me down the gym to let off a bit of steam, but it was no different really, except it was organised and disciplined.

Violence is rife in our society; we have a government and army who use the ultimate violence in places like Iraq. We have the Middle Classes who basically rip each others' ears off in rugby games (but that's deemed to be acceptable because the press are Middle Class and they're one of their own).

Yet, kids throwing a few punches are deemed to be such a menace to society that we have to have 10 billion CCTV cameras.

It boils down to the protection of a value system at the expense of parity.
