i have to write a comparison or contrast essay for my english class... is its comparison comparing three different asspects about what i am comparing.. my mind is blank. I hate having to think of something to write about :(

English profs love reading about comic book characters. Try The Thing, Incredible Hulk, and The Tick. Or maybe Heath Cliff, Garfield, and some other random cat. So many people write about serious issues and hot topics in todays news. See about seperateing yourself fromt them and find something humorious. If anything else, see about comparing old school to today. In Sci Fi and Fantasy, we use to use pupets and clay figures. Now it's all computer animation. Pick a cartoon, a clay/puppet figure, and a computer animation of today. An example, Micky Mouse, Gumby, and Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales. Something will pop up.

Compare a movie star's 3 ex wives. or even someone you know. What was similar about the spouses, what was not?

Hey Deadbluebird, Do you like vampires? Make a comparison between these three; Nicholas from Forever Night, Angel from Buffy/Angel, and the new vamp on Moon Light. Do you like Aliens? How about these three shows. American Dad, Alf, and 3rd Rock From The Sun. Compare how they live among us and with families. What about Dectective/Police teams? X Files, Starsky and Hutch, Dragnet. Women Hero shows? Wonder Woman, Bionic Woman, and the character Jessica Alba played. Pick something you like and you'll have more fun with your paper.

no no no, i dont compair three things.. i compair three things about two things... like an old job and a current job, wages, location, and the boss.. i duno.. its compair or contrast but he says compair is always easier.. i hate writing without purpose lol

Lets compare chalk and cheese because they are supposed to be different but no one has told me why. You can’t write with cheese that’s for sure You can’t eat chalk Chalk does come in the yellow variety Chalk lasts longer than cheese Cheese is squishy but chalk is crumbly Apart from that they are identical are they not?[8\|]

And it's 'compare'. Profs like correct spelling and grammar too. They need to be laughing at the right thing. Is it the comparing and contrasting that has you worried or the picking subjects to write about? Z.
