ORIGINAL: hardxdrive my female friends on this site tell me they get tons ofemails from men asking them if they would move, or that should be colared by them and they dont even take the time to know their name. just because a female is a sub doesnt mean she is your sub. get to know that person first before you start your dom mood. Actually lets just be blunt here and call these "doms" for what they really are, trolls. The dominants that I know are far more discerning about who they approach and have standards regarding who they will accept, they will not write to just anyone. Like you, I've had female friends here. Two of them joined here specifically so that they could hang out here in the forums with me. Both of them had the experience of receiving over 500 emails each with the first 24 hrs of joining here... this despite the fact that neither had a pic on profile, neither had had their profile approved yet (so nothing to read), one listed no interests and the other did not even put her height or weight on profile. Both were simply listed as female submissives and this is all it took to attract that volume of mail from trolls. I got to read some of these emails, many of them were nothing more than form letters sent by the same trolls to both my friends. Worse still, not all of the trolls were men (though the overwhelming majority were), about 50 of the emails (each) were from slaves seeking slaves for their master. These "slaves" are just as much trolls as the rest for having emailed them with form letters and without knowing the first thing about either of my friends, it was purely fishing. The deluge continued into day 2 and 3 and after a week of it they both got so tired of it they deleted their profiles and left the site. In my considered opinion, anyone, of any gender or orientation, that emails a new member before their profile is even approved, or without having read their profile or learned anything about the individual, is a troll. I will offer one idea on this. I saw a profile of a young woman yesterday that I thought had come up with a rather clever idea. About 2/3 of the way down in her profile she had typed a single word by itself between two paragraphs. In her profile was the instruction that if you emailed her and did not put this word in the subject line, the email would go straight into the garbage unread. Seemed like a pretty good solution. Would be even better if CM could add feature to the site mail allowing a simple word filter to applied to incoming subject lines allowing them to be sorted into the mailbox or bulkmail or deleted automatically based on the filter. Such a tool combined with the above idea could effectively eliminate most of the the deluge of spam women receive here.
