Of course his hypocrisy has long-standing roots, looking back on the Neo Nazi movement known as the PMRC, led by his wife, which he supported.

Neo Nazi movement known as the PMRC

Lol,..

Silly ,silly ,silly.lol

Man,what`a ya got`a do to win points with the neo-cons?
Start illegal wars,lose whole cities(New Orleans),lose osama bin-forgoten?

Lol.Is that how ya earn respect?

This is a typical response from one who either doesn't know how to argue a point, or has no point to argue.

A attacks X
B doesn't like that
Instead of defending X or discrediting A's argument, B tries to go off-topic and attack Y.

Criticizing Y has nothing to do with defending X or discrediting A's argument, thus B reveals self as butt-hurt over the attack on one of his (party's) beloved heroes and tries unsucessfully to deflect the issue.

Hence, one chief reason why I have been silent over almost all 500 of your Bush-bashing slumber parties here. Sure I could have mentioned Klinton, each time, and then had each one degenerate (if a troll thread could indeed degenerate) into a ridiculous pissing match, but I am a little smarter than that. [;)]

  I don`t know.Does anyone calling Tipper,(or anyone, for that matter)a "neo-nazi",deserve a respectful,intelligent response?
Nope.Not in my mind.

For me,and most folks(IMO),going there is worse than childish or immature.
I think my comments matched your level of discourse, just fine.

You`re an adult, and you`re using terms like that? And then you pee your panties when you get the response, that  a nazi reference deserves?

I`m up for an intelligent conversation ,with anyone. If someone is respectful, doesn`t use stupid nazi references(or posts KKK website links, like realone),and wants exchange ideas, then I`ll engage, happily.

But, if you`re  bringing up past and present ,"lunatic fringe talking points",you`re going to get called on it,and treated with the respect it deserves.

As far as I`m concerned, your nazi comment deserves no more respect, than a peace of dog poop stuck to my boot.

As an aside,I also never entertain nazi holocaust deniers, the nuts who circulate the "list" of people that Clinton was supposed to kill, lol, people who post KKK websites and/or white supremacists websites(realone),conspiracy theorists(all of them),or people who seem like bigots.

Yep, the Lousyana Democrats who actually RAN the fucking state had nothing to do with losing NO, psst, I got a bridge to sell ya.

btw you're sig quote is wrong, like your politics... It's "Don't tase me Bro", not "Dude"

My folks live on St Thomas,USVI, and lost their entire roof, plus a few courses of cement blocks, during hurricane Hugo.None of it was even left on the island,it was gone, blown out to sea.

FEMA was there the next day.It didn`t matter what the local government had on hand,or didn`t,the feds were there. My dad had FEMA guys in his hood helping, checking homes and handing out food.No one was left to fend for themselves. My folks still have FEMA tarps, from that and other  hurricanes.

The Day after Katrina,bush fished,and partied.Then ,did a fly over at 5000 feet,on his way home from vacation,days later.Now that`s leadership for ya`,...........not.
New Orleine was a total disaster. It was the way bush handled it,that will be remembered by history.

I don`t recall,but I think it took days,for even the 1st rescue guys to arrive,in LA,and Mississippi.

And even when people knew how bad it was,and getting worse, bush seemed to lag behind the eight ball,as people continued to drown and die of exposure.

The guy actually in charge of FEMA,lol.Michael Chertoff, told reporters that he had read in the paper that "we dodged a bullet".Like couldn`t this guy do more than that?! Ya know, call around a little, check and check again,ya know, his job.

I think bush let FEMA become infective, on purpose. After all, bush and republicans have been preaching the evils of the federal government ,for years.Saying that "government was the problem" and "it didn`t work".They just wanted/needed to prove them selves right.

SuzanneKneeling -> RE: Al Gore: Do you think he deserves the Nobel prize? (10/14/2007 9:32:16 PM)

There were many deserving candidates this year, but given how he has elevated the climate change issue in the country most obstinate in ignoring it, Gore's probably done more for the cause of peace of any of them. Anyone who has been keeping up with the growing water shortages in Africa, and the related land-use changes and tensions arising from those, has no doubt about the connection between climate change and peace. Unfortunately, our media here doesn't write about it very much, probably because Americans don't care much about civil strife abroad unless and until we get directly involved. The rest of the world understands however. Well done, Nobel committee.

Real0ne -> RE: Al Gore: Do you think he deserves the Nobel prize? (10/14/2007 10:29:10 PM)

Yep and I have little respect for "history deniers" and those whose research only goes as deep as revisionist history taught in high school, those who call names, those who obfuscate, use hyperbole in place of a real argument, and or create strawman man arguments or argue points I never made.  Neither do I have respect for those who have narrowly focused "tunnel vision" informational sources, especially from the 4 major conglomerates in the us.

I have little respect or patience for those who tack extra zeros on the number of jews killed in the holocaust without ever reviewing the records, nor do i have to much respect for people who accuse me of shit I never said, like claiming i said bill clinton killed 17 people.

Beside you do not have to be a rocket scientist and every one knows that just because 17 people "just happened" to die that were "DIRECTLY INVOLVED" with the clintons in the "WHITEWATER debacle" was nothing more than random pure unconnected "COINCIDENCE".  That happens all the time to everyone.  all the time!   Every day!

Another thing I have little respect for is naivity and or ignorant or egotistical denial of either history, historical events, or the painfully obvious.

Then there are the ones who cannot think for themselves and if a website doesnt give them all the answers they are lost in la la land, and if someone really wants to drive my respect for them to max negative, just be a hypocrite, call me a conspiracist while supporting the governments "conspiracy" theory.  911 for instance.  The governments "conspiracy theory" is some how not a conspiracy in their mind.  They call these people media programmed double thinkers, or no thinkers which ever applies.  There is a benefit to that tho and being conspiracy denier they can live in happy land while the world crumbles around them because nothing will ever get investigated just passed off as coincidence.  (but at least they can stay in happy happy land)

Oh and there are the ones who cant understand what they read. Like "pull it" where I actually had to go to the extremes to get a english teacher and linguist with a masters to pull it apart and give the linguistic proofs of how senseless it was to read it as anything but demolish a building, Especially after slandered and called a liar of all things.

I suppose I shouldnt forget to mention the people who cry about a kkk website being put up as an example to make a specific point where instead of arguing against the point they use the source which has nothing to do with the point to distract or demean another to erroneously discount the point when the very same information is on 2 million other totally unrelated sites.   Not to mention those who cannot tell the difference between a bigot and someone who is merely critisizing.

Speaking of hypocrites there is nothing more funny than those who ridicule christians and other religions but damned if anyone dare talk about a jew.

Some people never cease to amaze me and intelligent conversations with educated people are truly quite rare.

It's just like pahunkboy's post of the day award. It's theirs, and they can give it to anyone they please. So sure he deserves it... even if his flaky film is full of lies, and it has everything to do with politics, and nothing to do with peace.

Actually it isn't a flakey film full of lies. There were nine points the high court had problems with, by no means were they all found to be false, just not enough evidence to prove beyond doubt they were correct and therefore not ideal for a classroom because it made the film more of a polemic than an educational film.

However, the court did not question the essential core of the film, that human activity is causing climate change. That essential core was left unchallenged and people like you are generally muddying the water in hope you cause enough disinformation and doubt in people who have yet to reach a conclusion.

The overwhelming evidence and conclusions of just about every scientist in the field is that human behaviour is effecting the climate.

my google must be broken man because i cannot find anything that supports that global warming is man made.  I do not disagree with the natural phenomena that inreased solar flaring has caused increased temperatures, and i will ask the same question i always ask.

I carry nothing against him, but his stature is not worthy of it.  He's done nothing to merit a Nobel prize.

The hell about Katrina is that numerous folks were DENIED ACCESS to HELP!   troopers from VA were en route and denied- then the accounts were numerous way too many to be an oversight.  upstanding folks too.

I felt guilty sleeping on a bed when some were sleeping on a highway for 5ish nights.

Aid was late.

The place is still a wasteland.

The governamnet not only failed- but Stood in the way!

even a walmart truck of water was denied!

I got out and packed boxes as well. Thats the thing- folks that seldom donate [like me] did something to help irregardless of any government.   That storm was the big one- and sooner then the big or a big west coast earthquake.

I was amazed at how last minute and the amount of people that WERE NOT going to just ignore this suffering.

While the government was bickering average folk carried the day- or at least as much as we were capable of.

Thanks for that, Popeye.

A lot of folks did what they could,in their own way.Anything from sending money/stuff,to fucking going there with their power boats to search for and fetch people.I still have memories of those poor dogs and cats, who starved to death, because there was no time or space to save them.People were breaking their necks, just to save people, let alone their pets.Poor pups.

Ya know Popeye, most everyone in America stepped up and did the rights things after Katrina,as well as 9/11,etc.And we will again. That`s what we do.

America`s not the problem. We are a good people, with big hearts and helping hands. No matter what,we have always helped one another in times of need.No one got into political arguments, while men and women were dying. We got right to it and worried about the small stuff later.

Nope,America is brave and courageous, generous and empathetic, compassionate yet strong. There`s nothing wrong with America or Americans.
We just need leadership that`s worthy of us.
