If when talking to a dom you might meet up with and you ask him a question as how would he teach you to do it and he reply is thats the easy part..........if you came without asking,or if you just came i would beat you with a cane till you learnt and they would not be light taps am i silly to be worryed now about meeting him

I am a bit unclear as to what you are asking exactly?? Are you asking if you should not meet him now? Because if you are, then you are not real clear on why you are indecisive.

i am wary now as i am not sure if i would be safe with him if he cant give me time to learnt before belting me

Well, if that is the case, I would listen to what my instincts were telling me. If they are saying to slow down and back off; then I would.

Empathy and compassion are also part of being a dom. I'd say something to the effect of...well when you leave the toilet seat up, can I also beat you?

Of course it wouldn't matter to me what his answer would be because his words would have already told me to stay clear of him. If you don't feel safe then you probably aren't safe.
Do what your instincts tell you to do.

I think you already know the answears. What does your gut tell you? For me, a Dom telling me that would have me running in the oppiset direction!

In general, when 1st getting to know someone, be wary. (not paranoid!) Do all that you feel comfortable in doing, meet in a public place. safe calls, have a friend at another table in case of trouble. Don't go anywhere alone with him, don't play on the 1st meeting.etc. Trust your instincts, they are the same as when you were vanilla.
