I should have looked for one instead of re-inventing the wheel. These objections were really off the wall, many of them.

Every time I read an article like this, I wish I could've been a lawyer a bit more.  It'd be absolutely intoxicating, to be participating in such a debate.

In any case, I've read through a shy fifth of this article so far.  It's interesting.  So far, it appears as though Gore did take an alarmist tilt on things.. exaggerating risks and overstating effects.  The video would not pass for honest intellectual inquiry; it strikes me as propaganda.

Still, this said, it seems relatively accurate and informative for propaganda.  Perhaps it's not as bad as I've heard previously.

If you read the whole ruling, the judge did not find in favor of Gore's complete accuracy, he found that the proposed changes to the original Guidance packet would make it unneccessary for him to issue a ruling about its status as political propaganda. Without those changes, his comments on its over the top style were clearly aimed at parts of the film.

If the flaws in the film were non-existent, why did there need to be a revision of the GP to bring it into compliance with the ban on political doctine in the classroom?
