But since I've started posting on the forums, I suppose it's time to write one.

I've been actively participating in BDSM for the last year, and I'm enjoying it very much.  I've been interested since I was a teenager but (insert drama filled train wreck here).

I'm also a henna artist and body artist, a seed bead artist, and may wind up posting down in the commercial forum in a bit when I get my portfolio rebuilt.

I'm reasonably intelligent.  I've got a pair of teenage kids.  I have a number of "adopted" kids.  I've worked too many years in customer service type positions to have anything resembling "patience", although I try to be constructive and/or informative in my on line communications.

I'm very social, I love meeting new people, and I'm very, very shy when it comes to potentially more intimate contacts.

I'm also a total brat to my Dom - fortunately for us, he loves this, so it's all good.

I'm open to questions, but please, make an attempt at good grammar? Pretty please?  And can someone possibly explain the whole D/s "capitalization" thing that people do with the upper and lower case "I" when referring to self?  It makes my brain hurt.  I'm not criticizing anyone for using it, but it baffles me completely as to the philosophy behind it.

So... Um.. Hi, everyone, my Adderall just wore off, so I'm going to close this abruptly now.

Gods, I hate writing "intros" and "bios".

You can use the upper-lower case if you choose.  There are no strict rules on the subject. The reasoning for it on the other hand is a different story.  It doesn't matter either way what form of notation someone uses for the terms Dominant or submissive just as long as the conversation flows and make sense in it's entirety.

Also, if you are a stickler for grammar, be prepared to go insane...eventually LOL.

good luck, and welcome

PS! I lovessss the hat!

D/s is one of the few words i do cap.....that and God, Christmas and America....i tend to use gawd instead of God cause im a lazy typist....

i have no idea why i only cap the abbreviation D/s.....it just feels right to me.....but names and such, i figure not capping all shows the same respect to everyone that capping all does.  and the whole dom in cap and sub in non caps thing gives me a headache.....maybe we could also do switches in italics

i kinda believe that just being who you are, typing how you type, can show who you are, and thats all i can be...

if a lack of caps makes someone think less of me, well, we probably wouldnt have had a lot to talk about anyhow....

as for gud grammer, im frum tha south......this is a bord to tawk, not a miracle site.........

in those moments of solitude, does everyone sometimes think they are insane? or is it just me?

I generally don't follow the caps "rules" much at all.  Oh and sometimes I will do "d/S" just to be cute. :-p
