My slave and I have been shopping for collars for her and other miscellaneous things, and W/we've found that the local Sex World and other general places don't have much to offer. W/we're also on the lookout for good gatherings (though I'd prefer to find her a collar first). What would be a good way of finding good BDSM shops and munches in the area? W/we live in Minnesota.

go to yahoo or google and run a search for "BDSM (local major city)" you will find links to local groups. check their calenders and be certain that they are showing current activity, often when a group disbands the website will still be up.

as for the collar, it is only an outward symbol of what exists in your heart. A short term symbol from the jewelery section of a Walmart, Target, Spencers, or Hot Topic may do untill you find one you are really happy with

I totaly agree~ Meetup, or yahoogroups are great places to get started.

As for collars, there are tons of online sites. Even a simple gold chain with a small token can be concidered a "dress collar"

I had a chainmail one made for my girl that has a dragon on it. *shrugs* some are simple.. some are ornate. It depends on what you and her like.. and your personalities. It is just an outward sign of what commitment you have made to one another.

Hi i have a munch group and its a great way to get in to the swing of things i have a link or two if you want all so the collar has to be well thought out good luck Pinical

Shop on the internet. You'll probably get more a selection that way as well.

I know that in N.C. there is a very kink friendly leathersmith who goes to the flea market on weekends.

Possibly you could investigate leathersmiths in the area to see if they do custom jobs?
