I am gitting so annoyed. I had an e-mail today from someone who stole my friends picture! I keep finding people with my Picture to! I cant stand this, and there is no way to report them that I know of. Any help?

Send a message to "support". They are found at the bottom of the "Help" page. You will have to establish (1) you put up the pic 1st and (2) it was replicated w/o your permission. If you mean an actual picture of yourself and not clip art, the matter is more serious. Send "support" whatever evidence you have.

imitation is a sign of flattery. Although it may annoy the hell out of you and rightfully so, who ever does it, must find you very attractive.
Someone stole mine once and put it on a milk carton...kinda funny

I was accused of the same thing recently..... I shouldn't have to prove that I am me and not who they think... another scam to get me to send a piccie of myself as proof so they can steal it from me...

suggestion, "watermark" your photos with your screennic/name. If you "watermark" your piccies, if someone tries to use it, your name is already shown on the pic by your doing and they cannot use it.... they would REALLY have to do some work to try to alter it.

Just as a note - if you do 'watermark' your image, it is very likely that it will be removed/not accepted ecause it would appear to be 'copyrighted' - and even if you hold the copyright yourself, due to a new act - it is too big an issue for so few Mods to deal with sorting out the copyright and copyrigherssss...(sp?)

Agreed, other sites are different - and maybe I was assuming wrongly for thinking this person was talking about this site as well as others... I offered only help on the guidelines on this site. One can accept them, or move on...

recognized... thanks... this site is quite tough on their allowance of certain piccies... won't let me post my Ganeida pics here... but hey, that's ok... each site has to do what they have to do protect their integrity....
