Not true.  Deleting, in most cases, doesn't erase the contents but just the indexing, so to speak.  The actual data will stay there until something else happens to be written to that part of the card.

When I write to my Sir, I keep it in a Word document. In Word, you are able to make it secure, with a password that will open it. This allows you and her both to view it and the easy access of emailing it, as well. If you forget the password, no one can view it!

I keep one in a physical diary form which i have under my bed and i use the blog facility on another site like this i find it can be a really good way to track how you feel in certain situations and how that changes. When i wrote one spcifically for my ex Sir I spent hours on it and he barely read it which was really disapointing to me but for myself i love it. :D

Why not blog?  You can even get feedback from others as you vent and sort out your thoughts and feelings.

I keep a physical journal and scan the pages and send it to my Dom as an e-mail attachment.  That way, I am using pen and paper....which works better for me in getting honest uneditted things to come out. I am required to send it to him daily by 10pm.

best!

Journaling - one of my favorite things in life.... i teach my students that journaling doesn't have to be all "feelings and thoughts" - it can be as simple as cutting a picture out of a magazine or writing a list or favorite things, or a schedule.  i sometimes have things like the circle from the bottom of a cup of coffee with just a sentence or two - "that was a great cup of coffee and the decor of this place is really soothing" for example.  Or maybe i just have to draw a sketch of the mountains (i can't draw for shit, but who cares?)  Sometimes others say it better than i can - i have poems or articles from others.   Journaling is more like a scrapbook for me for some periods of my life and more like a diary at other times.  I have a journal for every year of my life since i started traveling.

It never occured to me to have a BDSM journal alhtough i like the idea.... and i have the perfect book!  Thanks for the suggestion.
