nyrisa -> Don't ask me anything..... (10/17/2007 9:45:28 PM)

Years of experience have taught me that I know almost nothing about almost anything. So if there is anything you don't absolutely need the answer to, here is the place to ask it. My advice is free, and well worth what you pay for it.

ROFL you rock

Ok what is the square root of you IQ if you know nothing? 0?  1? 2? 3?  5? 6? 7? 8 9?

Trust me if you know nothing about anything then how would you be able to post stuff on the internet? Trust me if you can post "lol" and know what it means,, then you at least know something.

On a less serious note: I know nothing about being stupid. I am smarter and wiser than you. Especially you old people :[:D]

nyrisa -> RE: Don't ask me anything..... (10/17/2007 10:12:15 PM)

Oh! My first customer! How delightful! Well, I said I know "almost" nothing, so I hope that isn't disappointing to you, as this will mean that you don't know as much more than me than you think you do. My goodness, 18 year old Dominants are so cute! If you do age play, do you play the grownup? What fun!

Now, as for the square root of my IQ, I could not tell you, because that math stuff bores me. I do recall that I tested just high enough to be invited to join Mensa, but I chose not to, because I'd rather be the smartest one in regular company, than the dumbest one in genius company. Smart, huh? Best regards, and thank you for your patronage. Please come again.

hmmm how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop?

nyrisa -> RE: Don't ask me anything..... (10/17/2007 10:14:21 PM)

I say we name your lil guy "Tootsie Pop" and put it to scientific test. How do you feel about field experiments?

Is downloading music of bittorrent equal to stealing a CD from a store?

I already know my answer but hell I am bored and want to know what other people say.

nyrisa -> RE: Don't ask me anything..... (10/17/2007 10:21:20 PM)

Well, personally, I think downloading just one song is not so wrong, because that is just sort of a sample, like eating one grape from a bunch to see if they are sweet enough to buy. But downloading a whole CD is just greedy, kind of like stuffing your face with the whole bunch of grapes in the checkout aisle. In the scheme of things, perhaps not equal to shoplifting the CD from the store, but definitely rude. And rudeness should be a punishable offense, in my perfect world. So, anyone guilty of this should go and slam his penis in a drawer until he understands the error of his ways.

eyeh8f8 -> RE: Don't ask me anything..... (10/17/2007 10:24:56 PM)

Ok then what is the best solution for the music industry and movie industy for that matter? Do they need to start adapting to the internet and r to evolve things more. Instead of protecting music which never really works.

nyrisa -> RE: Don't ask me anything..... (10/17/2007 10:32:57 PM)

The internet is changing an infinite array of things in our world. I am not sure how the music industry could adapt to this. Perhaps they might decide that the obscene rates they charge for concert tickets offsets the losses from the CD pirating. Or they might decide that the CD pirating arouses enough fan attention to encourage the buying of the obscenely priced concert tickets. Let's pull our chairs up here by the sidelines and see what happens. Want some popcorn?

I agree that the question of how to is not so easy but I know one thing that really would work.

People don't really need to go to concerts and whatnot to enjoy them, webcasting music would be another way to get things heard and hell there are ways to make things interactive. The thing about todays entertainment is that they are falling behind and really I have sen more artists doing things on there own and surviving with out the labels. Internet and otherways of communication always change things. In the end to compete you must not only create but adapt. It seems complicated but it couldn't be more simpe. My generation is said to have a troubled future but that is one aspect. Every generation has had there challenges and I think the internet helps more than it hurts. My father is one of those people who acts like work on the computer and anything on the computer isn't work or anything worth time. He associates me as being lazy because I spend most of my day on the computer but what probably could come back with the fact that I put more time into moderating a foorum, and helping outs some websites for free then he does anything at his job by geting paid more than me. I mkae nothing but an SSI check and I do pay bills. Wbhosting, and whatnot. The fact is that my father told me one thing that he fails to embrace himself "It's the world, deal with it"

Lol again that's my view. I rambled there but rally hat are we doing making sense of things in a forum that is suposed to be for random stupidity

Well, the take out from the chinese restuarant should be good for another day or so. I'd not trust the left overs from Sonny's, that was from 3 days ago, and the pizza from last week is rock hard and is going to be recycled to replace the roof shingles that the storms just blew off. I am all about the environment, after all!

He has had a religious revelation, and has decided that life should not be about building walls, but about embracing the unexpected. Sure, a car may come through your porch some day, but just think what an awesome opportunity to meet someone that fate has thrown into your lap! Open your mind to the possibilities, dude. Mr pahunkboy, TEAR DOWN THOSE WALLS!!!!!!!!
