My Sir told me I need to make a list of 15 punishments. They need to be creative. I know a lot of people will say that the punishment should fit the crime and that I shouldn't have to be punished often. I agree. But this is an assignment to get me thinking about something I did wrong last weekend. He already has something in mind for that, but enjoys my aphrehension and anticipation, so he's having me make a list for him to use if I have future indescretions. For every one which is not good enough, he will choose one on the list he feels is and administer it, so I can't put down weak, lame things that would be easy for me. Thanks for any of your thoughts.

Well we don't know what's difficult for you, so it's hard to answer. For me, inattention is difficult, although someone blowing me off for long periods of time would undermine the relationship.

Thank you for the suggestions. Pig Latin....that's halarious. Yes, being ignored, communication restrictions, ect. are tough on me. I'm sad if I don't get to talk to him in a day, let alone longer and to get together and have him ignore me would be horrible. The essay is a good idea too. I have a variety of punishments in mind, some physical (cause I'm not a masochist, I just have a high pain threshold), some mental (cause I think way too much and mental punishments are really hard on me). The biggest problem is that these are potentially things that my Sir will do to me, which is a punishment in itself for having to send him the list knowing I'm giving him ideas of how to really make me feel bad.

well, if mental punishments are hard on you (and shouldn't punishments be hard), perhaps something like making a list of 25 possible outcomes of your disobedience... from the absurd to the serious? or writing a postcard to an anonymous person about what you did wrong and actually mailing it (not an innocent bystander - someone he chooses and puts the address on - or never actually mails. you don't know who knows what a naughty girl you are) or keep a scrap book of your misdeeds and be forced to look at it with notes about punishment.... also, one sub to another.... my Master made me write out signs with humiliating names, so i turned it into an art project, complete with paint pens, glue gun, and shiny stars... he liked the initiative... i liked the shiny stars.... win win

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I acutally just used ones I thought up myself, but chellekitty, sometimes it's just helpful to have a discourse to get ideas flowing. And sometimes, it's nice to know others have been in a similar situation and see how they handled it. And, for me, having the soles of my feet whipped would be a punishment. Ouch!

the thing is, whats punishment for you is not necessarily punishment for me and whats punishment for me is not necessarily punishment for you...ie the whole having the soles of the feet whipped thing.... what would have been better questions to ask, in my not so humble opinion are, what is punishment? or even better, how do you define punishment? and how do you come up with punishment when the stock of punishments run out? and my answers... punishment is a negative reaction to stop a behavior...punishment should not be something you enjoy...it should also not be something that is detrimental to the physical or mental health of the reciever...if the punishment leaves the submissive more broken than when it began, i don't think its effective...at least not in any kind of power exchange relationship i want to be in.... coming up with new punishments? i think the punishment should fit the crime...if i am showing up constantly late, and since corpral punishment doesn't do any good (goes back to the leaving me more broken than when it began due to my past) having me clean silver would not be an appropriate punishment....what would be an appropriate punishment for me is...if i can't show up on time, i don't get to go...because i want to go...i want to be there...its an appropriate punishment for the infraction and for me... need more examples? or did i give you enough to think about? good luck chelle

It's no one else's business how your relationship operates. Personally, if a Dominant had made the same request of me, I'd be questioning his motovations. To me it would mean that he's looking for some standard answer and was unwilling to look at each incident on a case to case basis. And also, that he's looking for someone else to do what he should be doing.

What could possibly be worse than being asked to do this in the first place? And doesn't "Sir" even mind that it shows him to be clueless and that you're actually having to educate him by default? Gotta love it when the one expected to lead and set standards responds by sending the one expected to follow and obey out there to discover how it's done for him.... <shrugs> Focus.

Passive-aggressive punishment. Domination by proxy. Never do what you can make your submissive do. I'm pretty sure this is not the message your dominant wants to send you and others, and yet... Here tis. By the by, does he know you posted your situation on a public forum? As much as I decry punishment, there are those that just beg for it.

I disagree with most here who say her Dom is taking the easy way out.. I view this assignment as akin to sending her outside to pick out her own switch for a whipping.. or stingy nettles..weg No where did she say that her Dom was unsure of how to punish her, or too lazy to punish her.. He is making her really think about this. Long and hard. Personally, if Michael ever gave me an assignment like this, you can be damn sure I'd behave properly going forward! Luckily, I'm an angel [sm=flying.gif]..

hisdarlinsweetie you could have googled the terminology "punishment for slaves" or just "punishments". Coming here is nothing more than cheating to make your assigment easier. You not only discredit yourself but also your "Sir" as you call him by cheating...personally Id like to know who he is so we can get HIS perspective on this venue you have chosen to get assignment done!
