HI ,

Just saying hello,

Actually, I completely new to this, so anyone know how to begin? and as a male be taken seriously.

The chatrooms i find are very hard to get a real response.

So how does one get taken on as an "apptrentice"?

Any in the UK got ideas or interested?

I am not in the UK, but if you want to be taken seriously you might consider doing a couple things. First attend the munch of your local BDSM group. Get to know folks, establish a reputation for being sincere, helpful and friendly.

The other suggestion is much the same. Read the forums, consider what everyone is saying and post your comments. You will develop a reputation based upon what you say so be sincere, friendly and helpful... or however else you want to be seen. If your reputation is a good, you will hear from others in your area (as well as non-local).

Both strategies require time, patience and presence. But if you want to be taken seriously, these work.

Good news is, Your in London - lots of scene related groups there! Just google for them and they will come up. I would really urge you just take a deep breath and take your time though - and if you really want to be taken seriously, don't jump in head first, and you might want to work on your profile a little, get an image in there of some sort...

Most of all - enjoy!... These forums are a great way to hear about events or learn new 'things'... open you mind to new subjects you may not even thought about.

Its been it bit a slow start, but have learnt alot and made some new friends. Its comforting knowing that people are willing to help enter a newlifestyle.
