G'morning all: (Fast Reply) Having breezed through the thread and not being conversant with some of the terms used by other posters, I can't help but wonder if you've tried or have seen what I call a rope hobble. It can be used on ankles, wrists, elbows, etc. It requires a fairly long section of whatever rope you're looking to employ. My favorite is 1/2" satin braid from Rainbow Rope. Smooth, supple, leaves the nicest ligature marks. Have the submissive hold their wrists out front, 6-12 inches apart. Drape the middle of the length of rope so it sits evenly between the wrists. Then encircle the wrists with several revolutions of the rope. Starting at the wrists, secure a knot to prevent slippage, leaving wiggle enough room for comfort. Coil the rope around itself tightly, circling in towards the middle. Once there, tie off a knot securely. You now have a working hobble that allows access to tender bits, restricts movement yet provides affected areas comfort and ease of movement. (You can customize the distance and amount of turns about the wrists to your discretion.) You can always contact me on the other side and I can provide you with photographs of the finished work. Personally, I wrap any spot I'm about to work on in Vet Wrap. There's other names, but if you Google or Ebay search it, you should come up with quite a selection of brands and variety of colors. It adds a layer flexible padding to prevent any rub burns or pressure. You can even use it as bondage material, but that's another discussion. Stay safe, play nice, & share your toys w/ others...
