i thought i'd introduce myself, say hello, that kind of thing.

my name is -a secret. sorry, have to get to know you first. i'm 19, a graduate of my local public high school, and a prospective college student.
i came to discover bits and pieces of kink through books, friends, and a bitter relationship, so i have no personal experience to look back on.

i found this website, collarme, by way of a good search. (got to love google.) and i figured, i might as well try to understand and learn what i can, about this lifestyle that has somewhat taken me by surprise.

i'm looking for friends, friendly people i can look to for advice and answers to my questions...
i'm pretty shy at times, so you'll have to forgive me for that. :)

anything you want to know about me, you can ask and i'll answer to the best of my ability.

You will likely be buried by email by now, but the message boards here at Collarme can be a good way to learn a little bit while having fun. You can even make friends here.

I am not sure where you are planning on going to college, but after you get settled you might want to see if there is a student organization for those into BDSM. These can be a pleasant and safe way to get involved. Of course, many universities don't have such groups so you might consider attending the munch of your local BDSM group. I know many young adults feel uncomfortable being surrounded by so many older folks, but maybe you can take friends.
