http://congress.org It is absoltuly pathetic that I am writing you! We must stop bombs that use depleted uraniun. The health effect mimic that of a nuclear accident. Afganistan, Iraq and where ever we bomb is now a hazzardous waste site- for which clean up is NOT POSSIBLE! Depleted uranium remains radioactive for literally billions of years, and over these long periods of time it will continue to produce all of its radioactive decay products; thus depleted uranium actually becomes more radioactive as the centuries and millennia go by because these decay products accumulate. Shame on us! SHAME SHAME SHAME!

OK it might help if you get all the things correct before sending this. "Bombs" are not what use DU. (with a very few possible exceptions) Anti Armor penetrator rods from Tanks and Bradley's Anti tank rounds from 30 MM and 20 mm cannons on aircraft etc are what use them. They are known as kinetic energy rounds. Frightening. It leaches into ground water- then plants then the food chain. We are the fricken last generation.
