I guess we all know that animals and BDSM don't mix, that dogs when they burst through the door and into the living room during play don't quite understand the basic concepts of BDSM play. Or that cats, especially kittens have a completely different concept of playing with 'toys' to humans when it comes to BDSM equipment.

Has it all really been so safe, sane, and consensual? Some of us probably remember a few months back the long thread about the Domme who was taking her male sub with a strap on when it suddenly broke off inside him. I can recall a story told by a male Dom about the time when he and another male Dom took a female sub off to Ireland for her three day long kidnap, interrogation and rape fantasy only to lose both the map and the instructions. They ended up bringing the fantasy to reality on the wrong farm, much to the surprise and amusement of two entire villages who even put together a small rescue committee.

How about cages that didn't open? The canes that snapped? Keys to handcuffs which couldn't be found? Have any of you had important visitors when little 5 year old Johnny chases his younger sister round the coffee table brandishing the flogger he found in 'Mummy's wardrobe'?

Has anything happened to you which has ended up not as intended? Or a scene which just simply fell apart?

What was it?

Hahahaha... not that any thing went wrong as such... but the teachers in my x-wife's son's school look bewildered when he with a big smile announced: "If Hank doesn't behave then mother fixates him to a big black thing and MAKES him behave..." We all cracked up completely when he came home and told us that story - a nine year old kid with a healthy attitude. He and his sister were well informed and well educated children... ;-)

My point here is, don't necessarily involve them in the details BUT give them some hints and make it into a non-dramatic thing. That makes it easier for all and ensures that no one suddenly gets traumatic emotions if they accidentially witness something they were not supposed to.

More is NOT always better.  We took a fire baton class and ran roght home and made a pair.  Only instead of 1 foot of cotton gazue I used 1 YARD and the appropriate amount of cotton batting to go with the 1 YARD.  Somehow we didn't think it was going to be bad when the baton soaked up the ENTIRE pint of alcohol.  Luckily Argent was just going to see how it looked and was not actually going to do it to me at the time.  Also he was outside.  But it wernt something like this ...

Argent picks up the 2 HUGE cotton fire batons and puts them in the bowl of alcohol and seems a bit concerned that all the alcohol is soaked up, but he then in one swift, smooth motion touches the batons to the candle flame and raises his arms up above his head holding the 2 now flaming batons aloft ... as the excess flaming alcohol runs down his arms!!!!  The racoon and the cat looked confused just before they ran off into the woods together.  The friends who were over that evening sort of gasped and began to look for the water hose.  Argent quickly and calmly dropped the flaming torches (suitable for the banishment of Frankenstien, and the bride of Frankenstien, and the werewolf, and Dracula, and the 7 dwarfs ...) into the waiting bucket of water and brushed the remaining flames out.  I,  concerned subbie that I am, was collapsing in gales of laughter which I paid for later.  He was safe and it WAS funny to see!

..... Keys to handcuffs which couldn't be found? ....

aaaaaaaww did that one!!! occurred when I was doing a Co-Topping scene on Alandra.  We (Me) missed placed the key for the shackles... well... it caused a brief minute pause.... then said hell with it and carried on.  As the play went on for a few hours... magically the key showed up under some stuff on a counter during the scene.  We at one point finally took the shackles off after we found the key.

I don't consider that something gone wrong... just unexpected!  Wrong is something that REQUIRES play to be stopped and NOT continue.  This has only happened once to me.  I was playing Alandra and doing a caning scene likely 5 or 6 years ago.  I struck her in such a manner that she was not so good and the play had to be stopped.  Of course... Alandra wasn't to sure why I stopped since she was ready for more.  But.. I was not at all happy with what occurred... it pulled me right out of my zone and I couldn't continue with the play even thou Alandra was more than ready to continue.

i have two scenes end. Ok, both because i couldn’t stop giggling. See if you can picture this. We are at a private play party on L.I. i am a huge pain puppy, him a huge Sadist. We are scening rather nicely when this couple starts and he is paddling her butt. You can hear it can see it in the mirror right in front of me. Suddenly out of nowhere you hear that paddle hit really hard. Next you hear OWIE I SAID NOT SO HARD! i started giggling and couldn’t stop. At least he didn't get to annoyed heh.

The second scene, again private party on L.I. it’s my bday, the Ma'am has thrown a lets beat the pain puppy. She has gotten a new paddle. Suppose to be unbreakable. Since i have had a few toys broken on mah butt, she wants to test this one out. For the first hour, its going good. Suddenly you hear this crack. Jolts me outta that nice lil head space.  Ma'am is cussin a blue streak i on the other hand just about bust a gut laughing! Needless to say that scene ended rather quickly! And i got to keep the paddle!

and that's why i live by RACK(risk aware consensual kink), because with most things i'm into, there's always some risk of something going wrong;  like the cane breaking, the lost keys to the handcuffs, the toy that went in but never found it's way out again, etc.

My dog used to give us a disgusted look and go into the other room at play times. But one day he decided why not tie me up in the other room, the dog obviously considered this her space, came over to where I was tied up on the coffee table and began licking my face. Scene ended because of laughing so hard.

Yep, i had a time earlier this month when my Dom and i were playing and of course i'm naked and he's teasing me on my bed when my dad knocks at the door, using his key to get. Luckily i have two deadbolts that i lock when my Dom comes over. But that day i had to get dressed real quickly, shut the door to my room, answer my front door and let my dad know that i was getting ready to get into the shower before my friends came over. He, i guess brought over his mom and uncle, because they wanted to meet my dog. Also luckily for me he didn't bring them up to show them my place. My dad left and to this day my Dom still teases me and asks if my dad's coming over [8|].

yep, Ive had one where the handcuffs I was in, the key broke off inside the lock. Took a hacksaw to get me out of them.
