Greetings!
Please take a moment to visit GDsN - a group is for the newcomer to the Ds and BD/SM lifestyle, AND for those friendly and encouraging to them. We hope you will find it helpful, supportive and valuable, no matter on what leg of the journey you are. All legal, consenting adults are welcome and invited to participate, regardless of age, gender, experience level, physical location, relationship dynamics, religious or spiritual philosophy, sexual or scene orientation or any other labels.
Many members are new, eager to learn, and continue to seek knowledge; they need support, and friendly cyber-faces and voices. However, we seek and value exposure and education from the experienced, and all considerate points of view.
We expect (and have found) our group members to be welcoming, respectful, forthcoming, truthful, open, trustworthy, and especially sensitive to consent, negotiation, safety and privacy issues of newcomers.
The goal of this group is to be a place where no one is afraid to post or to ask questions, give opinions, and where positive, genuine behavior is the rule, not an exception. Discussion is often active and lively, but respect is expected. Flaming, spamming, irrelevant discussion and trolling are strictly prohibited, and subject to removal and/or ban.
As a fully moderated group, GDsN seeks to serve as an answer source, and a gateway to other resources. We maintain an open "door" policy; please contact me, or the moderators at any time to relay links to be added, or any concerns, questions or suggestions you may have.
