Action -> Shopping (10/22/2007 3:58:31 AM)

Dear Ladies,

Is it just me, or does shopping just put you in a good mood no matter how its been? Been having a fun night just shopping thought amazon.com to add to my budding wish list, already got my first little tribute on it just tonight of an oversized package of my favorite jelly candies. Should be waiting for me when I arrive in england next week <3

Ahhh the senseless joy of looking over things you want but can't get yourself, its like window shopping but even better. I kept finding all sorts of random things I'd love to have and just had fun adding to my list. Its almost theraputic! I recomend it to all you ladies out there, if your in a slump or just suffereing that once a month plague, sit down on your computer and have fun adding to an amazon wishlist can put you in a great state of mind.

I have quite a wish list at Amazon.com and also at Zappos...... now I need those wishes fulfilled!

LadyPact -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 7:24:08 AM)

I'm not familiar with the wish list (as discussed earlier) but who could resist a thread that was entitled "shopping"?

I'm very lucky in this area.  My boy loves to go shopping, of any kind.  W/we've spent many hours strolling through shops just for the fun of it.  I'm hoping W/we'll find time to hit more stores this week.  It doesn't seem that he ever gets tired of it.

Shopping is a dangerous habit... especially when I have cash.

I'm a waitress, I always have cash. [:-]

Yeah, I went shopping yesterday looking for white blouses for work... I am now the proud owner of a pair of jeans (I've not had a pair of jeans in years!), a new pair of palazzo pants, and um... I'm not sure how many tops I got. Only one of said tops is a white button-up, which I almost don't want to wear to work because I will cry when it inevitably gets stained, and it's really cute!

I now have considerably less cash. [8D]

Next shopping trip: I'm bringing a boy to carry my bags, damnit, and I'm shopping for shoes!

CollegeConundrum -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 11:22:12 AM)

Shopping should be a hard limit.

LaTigresse -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 11:25:46 AM)

My going to Amazon.com means more books, CD's and movies..........dangerous.

RosesHaveThorns -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 12:05:49 PM)

Sub here, but if you have a relucant male who doesn't want to go shopping, and pulling on the leash isn't working (Or you can't!), offer to go to the lingerie store to try things on in front of him. Or use it as a reward for doing other tasks.

I hope that it won't become a hard limit if that trick is employed.

I've found  that shopping for electronics works, too. :)

Nicely timed post. What about a Mistress who gives a whole list of different types of shopping slaves. Then says it is all about pampering Her. Thats fair enough if in a relationship, but with no sex, or no bdsm play, or no relationship. What has such a Mistress got to offer a submissive in return ?

i am not saying okay whats in it for me, i am just wondering why anyone thinks a decent submissive would be prepared to just go shopping, and thats all there is to the relationship ?

MissMagnolia -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 4:23:58 PM)

No politesub. I have never met a man, from my Dad right through to my son, ex's, any male in fact, who likes shopping with me. I much prefer to shop on my own. No bitching about "are we nearly finished?" etc.[8D]

I can make MY subs/slaves come shopping with me, but if there is no relationship or anything else, no. As for tributes, if they are given freely, lovely, but I've never asked for them.

That being said, I am a rabid ebayer. I really think I'd like to be banned from there, it's scary how much I spend.[:D]

Politesub53 -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 4:31:34 PM)

Hi Miss Magnolia, for myself i love shopping for clothes that match :)  I was prompted to post by an add i saw, the lady concerned had a list of types of shopping slave, but offered nothing in return. i wondered why anyone would expect this, although i suspect some guys are happy to be a cash card with no strings.

Oh I love shopping. Haven't been in a while though as money has been a bit tight. But things are looking up and Christmas is coming soon....

I really have been a good girl this year so I think I should be at the top of my list!

Android -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 5:07:52 PM)

There are lots of men out there who simply adore shopping, my hosuemate and a good friend of mine for example both adore a good bit of retail therapy![:D]
It's great shopping with them...I'm very poor at the moment and haven't bought anything for a while...apart from a new dress from TG clothing...but that doesn't count....ahem...honest....[;)]

Yes yes yes... Nothing makes one feel as good as shopping...  I love getting the items home then trying them on all!  Or waiting for the postman with some fetish items...  Shudders...

Shoosh cheeky face, I said tell no one about that[;)].

I agree. It sounds like a woman who wants someone to carry her heavy shopping and his increasingly lighter wallet. Not good.[8|]

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Shopping (10/22/2007 8:18:50 PM)

Shopping good. Which is more deadly, ebay or Amazon?  If you're me, EBAY.  A deadly deadly place.

I also collect asian ball jointed dolls. (ABJD's)  I remember having money....

LaTigresse -> RE: Shopping (10/23/2007 11:50:52 AM)

Now shopping in a mall...............pure hell.

You've stumpped me, though over the years, I've donated more funds to the big E (Ebay).

Someone asked in another thread, "what's better than sex?", Now that I think about it, SHOPPING! is my answer.  And I don't care if the purchases will be for me or someone else, I enjoy shopping.  It should be my recreational sport financed by a generous galatic process through the universe that sees my kind earthly deeds as having some Karma credit in the form of a bottomless $$$$ VISA card coming my way.
