These two rednecks, Billy Bob and Hank, got jobs at the local Fruit of the Loom factory. After about five years, they were laid off. The were upset because they had no way to support their drinking habit. One day, Billy Bob told Hank they could get paid for being laid off from work. Hank got excited. They hopped in the truck and went to the unemployment office.
The lady at the unemployment office asked Billy Bob what he did at the factory. Billy Bob replied, "I am the crotch stitcher."
The lady nodded her head in approval and looked for the proper payment. "Hmmmm...that'll be $125 a week, Mr. Billy Bob." Billy Bob got excited, "Hell yeah, that's what I'm talking about! $125 a week to sit on my ass and do nothing."
The lady asked Hank what he did at the factory. Hank replied, "I'm a diesel fitter."
The lady oohed a bit. "Hmmmm, heavy machinery. That will be $300 a week."
Billy Bob got upset. "Why the hell he gets $300 a week and I only get $125? I have the most important job at the factory. I'm the crotch stitcher."
"Mr. Billy Bob, Hank deals with heavy machinery. That's an important job. He's a diesel fitter."
Billy Bob replied, "Lady, let me tell you how it is at the draws factory. I work on the women's panty line. I'm the crotch stitcher. I make sure the crotch is nice and smooth with no rough edges. It's the most important job in the house. After I finished making sure the crotch is nice and smooth, I pass it to Hank. All he does is hold them up and say, 'Yep, these'll fit her!' "
