I am thinking that it is very brisk outside this morning, and I am looking forward to cooking today as well as the possibility of a friend stopping by for coffee.

i'm thinking i'm looking forward to thanksgiving on friday (thursday for you guys - so see, i'm right on time!). i'm looking forward to meeting some americans too. and i'm thinking i'm missing pottering around in a warm kitchen when it's snowing outside, and smelling pumpkin pie, green beans, stuffing, sweet potatoes, garlic, bread rolls. i even miss my vy large family who would be incredibly noisy and messy and .... [:(]

I'm thinking that a big batch of date pudding just boiled over in my oven and it smells like burning death in here now. Happy fricking Thanksgiving. LOL. Seriously, brown sugar sauce is coating my oven. This is not going to be pretty. I swear I'm a good cook. I did exactly what the recipe said. But this happens every year because, every year, I forget that the damn thing boils over.
