Im thinking I cant stand people who call here at 6:20 in the morning when my entire family is still asleep to tell me they just mailed a check for only HALF of what they owe me, and then go on to complain about not understnading why I wouldnt let them take what they bought home with them the other day when they didnt give me any money at all.....

I have now taught my 2yo to wander around going "gators yucky"....its so cute. He recognizes the gators emblems and stuff, so when we go to the store and see someone wearing a gotors shirt or hat or something, he'll point and go "gators yucky"....I love my UMs.....

OMG, how can anyone say that any great rivalry is "only a game"??!! I do not get into the Dawgs Gators as I am a Big Ten girl. But I do understand about intense rivalries. We have one that is in state. University of Iowa*GO HAWKS!!!* and Iowa State University*BOOO CLONES!!!*. Bragging rights, a trophy and pride are all on the line every year.

hell the cops here pull over anyone with a fla tag this week/weekend and give them tickets..

I'm now thinking that I need to 'splain somethin'...

It's only a game for me because of two reasons. First, I'm not a big fan of football. Sorry, but the game moves way too slowly for my taste. Give me ice hockey any time. Second, I'm not originally from the south, so I could care less about the SEC. In fact, I can broaden that statement to include any college conference in the country. I was raised in upstate NY and where I lived, ice hockey got more attention than college football.

I understand the economic impact this game in Jacksonville has to that area this weekend. I lived there and benefited from the money dropped by the revelers. But, Dawg money is the same as Gator money... it collects and spends the same... it doesn't matter who's dropping the money as long as they do. So, from my perspective, this is just another football game.
