Hello, I am going to be getting into puppy play with my dom in the near future, I was just wondering if dommes like a good puppy from the start or should I pretend to disobey on purpose for the full "training" aspect of the play? thanks for your replies in advance.

Only you can answer that, after all you know your domme. IMHO I like a good puppy who is willing to learn. If he messes around when he should be learning, to me he does not want to learn and I am not interested.

I would suggest that what other dominas may like is irrelevant. Whether or not the Lady you'll be playing with likes a good puppy or bad puppy to start is all that matters. In other words, you should be asking her, not strangers on the internet.

My suggestion is to talk to her. What I’ve always thought might be fun, is to train a pup in a different language so they don’t know what the command is. Just a note on puppy play it self, you might act differently then you think you will. Puppy play has a head space that you can fall into. It’s personally one of my top ten actives. Have a good time. I'm with a majority on this one...talk to your Domme. The first step to establishing anything with your Domme is open and honest communication. But I agree with SunNMoon. Puppy play does have it's own head space. You may go into the scene wanting to be bratty and mischievious, but you may end up trained well enough to enter the Westminster Dog Show! LOL *I wonder if you would get bonus points for obeying Her commands in a different language? Don't lick yourself, though. The judges won't reward you for that, but your Domme just might simply for amusing Her.*

Well, if she is anything like my Domme, I imagine you should start off being as good a pup as you can be.... and she'll find ways of tripping you up as needed... LOL

I love any type of role-play but admit that sissies and puppy play are top of my list. I did a bunch of very hardcore dog training audios for a pup slave - one included him pooping on the floor and rubbing his nose in it. The variations in dog training can go from one extreme to the other. I enjoy humiliation so I tend to lean to the extreme.
