Ok this is silly, but I have "lost" a word here (yeah what I call a brain fart). What is it when you are hit with a cane? Whack, whap, slap, swat, lash ... I know there is a word for it but I cannot "find" the word in my brian (yeah the 60's were good to me!lmao). So pplleeezee???? sombody tell me what word I am looking for??? I will send you cookies! opal edited cause the brain farts extend to typing too!

well, cookies in this house are yes, indeed homemade from scratch. the current ones in the cache are my take on a "Vanilla Tea Cake" with crushed almonds. Pecans are also a favorite, especially in vanilla-toll house-chocolate chip cookies. i do have this amazing thing but its not a cookie, rather a rolled thing filled with crushed pecans and honey, supposed to be from an Italian recipe and cut into slices. LOVE the picture of the tit and the wheel ... mmm a favorite toy with or without the violet wand! Everyone could come to our house for "tea and cookies" clothing optional, toy bringers get extra cookies!!! Then I could read you all the story I am in the middle of that I needed the cane word for! opal

No NUTS???? ohh ... well... OK if you're sure. I know, sometimes you feel the nuts, sometimes you don't!!! But for you, plain but oh so good chocolate chippers it is! Variety IS the spice of life after all! opal (who has to go start dinner very soon!)

There are never too many words to have in ones vocabulary and it makes me 'nuts' to know that I used to know it can't for the life of me think of it when I need it! Ok, time to rip myself away from all this endearing company and make some supper, and get back to my sewing project for a few minutes! hugs all around and we'll keep the porch light on for ya! opal
