Here's the rest of it... Old news to me.. but i'm hoping it'll throw some of you guys for a loop

Though which also could bring to an interesting thought on hermaphidites and gender issues. Females being given some testarone.. and males not being given enough.

All you say is quite correct, RiotGirl, however, there is a differing viewpoint ---

Please note the first paragraph, where-in it is stated that the default sex in humans is phenotypically female, and the reiteration of this statement under the third bullet.

Evolution is basically mirrored in the development of the individual. We look a lot like multi-celled unspecialized life forms, then 'evolve' into something resembling a fish, then a reptile, then finally we begin to show signs of becoming human. We even lose our gills and our tails in the process, which I think seriously limits our enjoyment of our environments, but that is the subject of a different topic, and I will not explore that at this time in this post.

Now, a logical person could conclude that, in order to become male, the fetus must undergo an additional transformation, or, as some have stated it, an evolution beyond the default development.

This leads to the very reasonable conclusion that, if the male evolves through one more stage of development, he is of course more evolved than the woman. Hence, it is right and proper for women to be submissive and subordinate to men. And so it has properly been throughout most of human history.
