ORIGINAL: kitttty quote:
This sounds like what the gorian girls talk about. "I am a super duper owned slave who will do anything" but her cowering "master" wouldn't dare ask her to even pick up after herself or lose 125 pounds for fear of her "being uncomfortable" but I AM a SLAVE dammit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But the Master has gotten me to lose weight and do more strenuous tasks than picking up clothes. Honestly, I have no need to believe that I am owned so deeply that I will do anything. There are a lot of things I would not do. Generally these are not things the Master even requests. As of yet they have never been things the Master insists upon. quote:
It shouldn't take the threat of losing half of your assets to be comitted to a partner. Well, it does. I can be very nice to a man that does not make a true investment in our future together but its not commitment. How can you let someone make major decisions for you if you are not sure he is going to be there to endure the consequences? For me, trust is intertwined with commitment. And commitment that is more than "I'll be there". {How can you let someone make major decisions for you if you are not sure he is going to be there to endure the consequences?} Kitttty ..cart before the horse! you have gotten that backwards> you don't marry someone to make them be there enduring and committed. you marry someone because they already are committed and there right beside you enduring and invested. Marriage is not a magic pill..and does not guarantee much.
