I am very much interested in the experiences of submissives who genuinely enjoy being degraded and humiliated.

I'll make this clear from the start, this isn't one of those "judgemental" threads, as to whether it is right or wrong, good or bad. I'm just fascinated by it because I don't have an understanding of that particular dynamic, and I have no real life resource to ask. To my particular submissive, this would be very, very damaging, and I don't have any desire to treat her that way. I would like to know, "sooner than later", if perhaps for some reason she expressed an interest in exploring this type of behavior, how the energy flows back and forth between the Dom and the sub, so that neither one of us end up hurt because of it.

Hello There,
The way it seems to work between my Master and I, is that it is not a direct attack on my person, but rather using my strengths and weaknesses to raise my submission to him, anxiety or embarrassment levels. Prior to being into BDSM I was one of the most prudish women in public you'd ever met. My Master knowing this really exploits my slutty attire. We do things that humiliate me like My Master will make me stand up in a restaurant and drop my panties to the floor, he'll make me play with myself in a restaurant and lick my fingers, He'll make me sit with my legs open and flash friends of ours at socials, he'll make me go out into stores in very slutty short skirts and sheer tops, and he'll make me flash my boobs or pussy at truckers when we're driving by us sometimes. Knowing I'm so embarrassed and turned on at the same time makes this a very fun humiliation game for me.
I think humiliation means many things to many people, but if it's done in consensual but pushing it ways it can be a good tool in the right Dom's hands. The Dom gets the pleasure of the fact you're willing to do things for him you wouldn't otherwise, and you get more confidence in knowing if you can do these embarrassing things that you are not only servicing the desire of the Dom but gaining confidence in yourself somehow too.

I have to agree with plantlady... in the right Hands humiliation play is a wonderful thing. Master recently had me walk with Him into a gas station cuffed, with rather obvious nipple clips on under my shirt. My eyes didn't come above waist level on anyone the whole time due to the embarrassment, but at the same time it was an incredible rush to do this because He wanted me to. Things like that, and Him teasing me about the outing, and my reactions, are very positive experiences.
