ORIGINAL: TPE4life damn i wish there was an ignore button for some on the message boards There is. It's that little red hand that says "Block" under their names when they post. I am rather inclined to agree with SoulPiercer's post. Your profile represents your views and philosophies and beliefs. If such thoughts are the foundation for how you live your life, then there is nothing at all wrong with putting that out there, and you are more than likely going to attract like minds to your ultimate calling then unlike minds. My sister and her husband are very strict in their Christian beliefs - more than I would actually understand or agree with, but that's why they're who they are and I am who I am. That being said, they were on an adoption waiting list for a very long time, never chosen by birth mothers because of their "over the top" profile. After nearly 2 years of waiting, my sister started to consider changing her profile. I suggested she remain true to who she is, rather than pretending she is something she is not, and the right thing will happen. She now has two beautiful sons, and was chosen by birth mothers who wanted a mother just like my sister to raise their off spring. Sometimes being true to who you are means waiting longer for results, but it also means getting the right results. As for the jabs you get, that tends to go with the territory of putting yourself out there online. Chalk it up to rude people you have no interest in, and move on.
