Ever have a day where it all hit the fan at once?  Well, that happened to me yesterday.  I finally cried myself to sleep on the couch.
The boss was a bitch. I almost walked out on a job I love because the boss was a bitch. 
Then I come home to find my home rented out to someone else.
That was my home until I lost it in my divorce.  I renovated it.  I don't think an 18 year old kid will appreciate custom oak cabinets, hard wood floors, etc. 
Sooner or later that pipe will freeze up on her, and she will be down here with us. weg.
No use filling sorry for me, but lets have a rant post. 
If your day just sucked, let's here about it right here.

You found your house rented out to someone else ? How did this happen ? Assuming you paid your rent, and the fact that you got on the internet, I assume you are not on the street right now.

So that is secondary. The first phase of the bad was work. You came here to rant, and that is fine. You said the boss was bitchy. I have learned over the years to try to not take it personally. Sidestep.

You could take it personally, but like this : "You're in a bitchy mood today, why ? Is there something I can do to help ? ".

So she put you in a bitchy mood, and I hope typing the post made you feel better. But who put her into a bitchy mood ? And who put that person into a bitchy mood ? It goes on forever.

Forgive your own anger and you will learn how to never feel it again. Then you can forgive others' anger, and that is where you gain.

When you respond to anger with kindness, some people respond profoundly. I have had that happen to me. I got fed up and went off, yet the next day I was treated very kindly. It changes you when you find people like that. You learn that love, hate, anger, fear are all choices YOU make. If Christians can do it, so can we. Their mechanism is what it is, but it works for them, well most of them.

Now I go. I will be baaaaack.

I am a Christian.  I have a very hard time of forgiving someone when I feel wronged.
The house is still mine.  It is a family home.  End the end I will inherit it all.
It is a simple power deal with my 94 year old grandmother. She has that thing where you hord money and things.  Sad.
As for the bitchy boss, it was hot in that store.  We all get bitchy when it is hot.  She hurt my feelings.  We hugged and made up.
We have a boss who is coming in drunk, and it is putting strain on everyone.  I have to pick that boss up to get to work, so I hear a lot of that.
I am taking next weekend off. 
In the end, I think it was the finality of the house being gone.  I will not live in it again.  I cannot.  I will not bring another relationship over here.
I am going to find my own land with my own home a few miles away.

Regards, and it is an open rant, so if you are generally pissed off, mad as hell, or annoyed with someone or something, let it go here.

Yes. We do still have to deal with the children of the depression, like your grnadmother is. Not fun in some wyas. So not fun. Try to rise above.

This is a rant.  You  do not have to rise above it.  That is what it is for.
Tonight went well at work.  I had no more alerts.
slave is here fixing me a snack.  For the moment all is calm.
Sometimes in life, you just need to rant or throw something.   Last night was one of those times.
Anyone else who would like to rant and not give any advice, please join in.  You can have your own rant.

I have had days like that.
I have actualy turned around to a manager of a different shift and told them that if I didnt love my job, Id never come back into the building, and if I had to work with a certain trainee for more than an hour a day, Id have run screaming.
Today, for instance. The night manager is the bane of my existance.

I could rant on this thread for months.  I not only have one of those days, I have one of those lives.  Right now I'm nursing a cat through cancer knowing that I'll have to have him put down on Monday because he's in pain and his throat is being closed by a tumour.  Earlier this year I lost another cat to chronic renal failure because of a mis-diagnosis by a vet who shouldn't even be allowed to practice.  Last year my partner had TB and nearly died on me.  The year before that my mother died of lung cancer and my father suffered nephritis.  The year before that I buried 26 people, starting with a cousin and her baby on New Years Day and finishing with my grandfather on Christmas day, compounded by my partner of 5 years running off with the next door neighbours wife.  In 2000 I was flooded out of my home and it was destroyed and I was forced to move.  I think it's called living in "interesting times"

I'd like to say that I've had a rare few years, but I haven't.  It's always been this way.  It's taught me some huge lessons, like if it doesn't have a pulse, it isn't worth worrying about.  Like life goes on regardless.  Like the tears we cry are only a sign of how much love we felt and how much joy was shared.  Like wake up every day and count your blessings not your curses.  Because you'll be suprised at how many you have.

So now, when I have a rant day I do that.  I've had 15 years with a beautiful cat that should have been dead at 5.  I've got a wonderful, supportive partner who loves me very much.  I have a secure roof over my head.  I have a father who loves me and spoils me rotten.  I have another cat who is simply magnificent.  I have food in my kitchen, clothes on my back, my bills are all paid, my limbs are all working (for a chanage!), I've a working computer on my desk, friends who would rally round at 4 in the morning if I needed them.  I am at the start of an amazing new business which is all mine to do with as I please.  I have a warm, safe bed to sleep in at night with the arms of the man I love to wrap around me. 

When you go through a list like that, it's hard to rant.

My previous place, I rented from a relitive. It went well for many years. The thing is I could 1/2 way fix up the place. While it was easier to put cash in when it was in the family- selling it- it was not my place to decide that. I demanded that fair market value -for the place- but other then that- .....so now at the current place- which me and the bank own; it is on me if I sell- neglect or improve the place. It is all on me.    Therefor I find myself doing -spending what I did not at the old place.

-so- if possible make your own life. the granny is controlling you.

I think the OP here said something to the effect "no advice". I will violate that one time and one time only.

Whenever you lament about what you don't have, start thinking about what you DO have.

The wealth is all inside. Your dreams, creativity, ambition and instinct are the real wealth. That is what you trade for money when you work. The deal stinks, but do it or starve.

We really don't have it that bad yet, but I was pretty impressed with Obama's speech the other day. We really don't have it all that good either.

Really, my biggest rant would be about myself. My laziness has let some opportunities go by. Small ones, but opportunities nonetheless. Any one of them could've turned into something, but I was too busy hanging with my dudes or partying. I blame noone but myself. And I have no hard feelings with myself either. I haven't done all that bad, but the only bitch is, that I know I could've done better.

Yes, someone asked about a coke, that would piss me off on some days.
Keep this one going when you are totally stressed out.   Say what you want to say.
