From a conversation I had with a friend recently: Him: "What kind of taste in music do you have?"  Me: "Good taste."

So what music are you listening to these days?  What are the bands and songs that show up in your iPod/CD Player/satellite radio selections right now?

For my own part, I tend to gravitate towards bands that never, ever show up on radio playlists or music T.V.  What am I listening to right now?  Hmm, well, a short list: She Wants Revenge, Paramore, Modest Mouse, Placebo, Mute Math, Disturbed, Stolen Babies, Shiny Toy Guns, Snake River Conspiracy, Imogen Heap, and Metric.

I listen to country, it was the first station that was on the radio the last time I saw my exhusband and it's relaxing.  I listen to jazz or lite stuff while at work, and with MJ, who knows, He has diverse tastes "She Wants Revenge" among them.  I don't pay much attention to groups or bands; I have opera, classical and 'nature sounds' on my computer as well.  Just depends on what mood I am in as to what I listen too.

My taste in music is pretty broad - rock to classical and almost anything in between.  I'm trying to rebuild my music collection after it was stolen last year, but pre-iPod days, I had close to 1,000 CDs, music DVDs and the like. 

At the moment, however, I've been listening to my Master's voice, as we were testing an electronic dictation program so I can type his documents up for him.

Well at the moment I am listening to "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" in the background..but as far as taste in mucic..I am "motown" 90% of the time with a wee bit of Enya, or Tears for Fears thrown in...oh and a little of Chicago as well..:0)....Tempting

*takes a deep breath* Jack Johnson,Kool & The Gang *Mislead* my fav song ,Prince,Lots of 80's music,Ne-Yo,Michael Buble,Chris Brown, and Lots of Big Band Music !! yeah eclectic I know *grins* all packed in my liitle Ipod thingy

The new CD's by Kid Rock ("Rock N Roll Jesus") and Bruce Springsteen ("Magic").  I am so looking forward to some I just recently ordered as well...the new ones by Levon Helm, Robert Plant/Alison Krauss, Billy Joe Shaver and Mark Knopfler.  Can't wait!...........luci
