I am going to the dentist to get a HUGE filling done.  The cavity is the size of Cleveland!   I dont understand why dentist chairs dont have seatrbelts! With any luck his computerized needle will slide in easily- and I will be coherant enough to get thru it all.

For the day in general- I have some decorative dinnerware- and I certainly love to eat!

Phoenix took a vaction day, planning to spend the afternoon playing. Perhaps some knive play or flogging. Then we will take our 2 UMs out trick or treating. Once the UMs are in bed I will celebrate Samhain.

Blessed be,

I just moved to a new neighborhood with
lot's of kids, so I will be hanging out here
at home and and handing out treats and toys.
I'm looking forward to it.
Before the fire I lived in a university neighborhood
with very few children, it will be great to see the
cute little costumes, I always dressed my um up in
really cool outfit's for halloween.

Missy.

We might do a fun casual going out thing, but more likely just hanging around the house.  It's a work night :)

Praying for the souls of those who deviate from the path of righteousness to partake in this heathenish evil!

Honest.

FangsNfeet -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/28/2007 9:26:06 PM)

I'm realizing that I'm getting old. For the first time, I'll be opening my door and giving candy to trick or treaters for Holloween.

Seriously?  Can you explain your reasoning?  I mean I could guess at a half dozen of them, but I want to know specifically for you.

Tannie -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/28/2007 10:30:44 PM)

I'm not doing anything for Halloween this year except watching horror movies for 24 hours straight.

KyttynTheMynx -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/28/2007 10:35:33 PM)

im doing the usual.  costume, music, driving around terrorizing citizens, late nite breakfast/dinner thingit at ihop with 30 other people, then walmart to catch the sale on candy, and other halloween junk, and then a friends house to rest up.  Saturday is when the real fun begins...

pinkme2 -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/28/2007 11:13:56 PM)

I'll be taking my UMs out trick or treating.. and trying not to eat too much candy myself!!

juliaoceania -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/29/2007 6:12:22 AM)

My son and I may go to a local "haunted house" (they say it is really haunted...laughing). It depends on whether or not my son gets back from Disneyland with his friends in time...he will be gone for 4 days and he is going to try to get back at a decent hour.

I can't stay out late, I have to go out of town on business for a couple of days on the first which requires me to get out of bed at 4 am the next day... so I plan on being in bed by 9pm..

GhitaAmati -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/29/2007 7:10:49 AM)

our neirborhood is doing a local hay ride taking about 30 kids around to houses to go trick or treating, then ending up at my aunts house for a bonfire with smores and hot apple cider. We do this every year....its a whole lot of fun and the kids really enjoy it...

SunNMoon -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/29/2007 7:51:21 AM)

Giving out candy to short people, while following the basic formula of one for you, one for me, two for you, one two for me.[:D]

camille65 -> RE: What are U/u doing on Halloween? (10/29/2007 10:40:21 AM)

My first Halloween at my house a decade ago, I bought what seemed like 30 pounds of candy for the impending horde. I decorated the house with the usual stuff and waited with my candy bowl.
Waited. And waited. Finally I realised that no kid in their right mind would walk up a 1/4 mile dark dirt driveway haha. Dang it.

I think this year I may go to my ex's house and try to pass out candy there. I freakin love seeing lil kids all dressed up. I have the greatest memories of Halloween, back in the days where you didn't need an adult to go with you and candy didn't have to be x-rayed. Caramel apples were okay to accept from a neighbor, or homemade cookies. Running hand in hand with my best friend, pillowcases bulging with treats. Pitch dark and of course there were real ghosties out there!

I wish I had somewhere to go all dressed up. I miss that.
