I call NChaka "Ivol" (pronounced evil). [:D] "Ivol French Master" "Ivol Master", "Ivol Man", "ivol Ivol IVOL Man"... you get the idea. lol For us, it's just playfulness and an important part of our relationship. Master loves to tease me, especially since I'm chronically gullible. At 47, I'll still fall for the 'spot on my shirt' gag at times. (No, I'm not stupid, I just don't think that deviously most of the time, so I'm an easy target.) I've never minded being playfully teased by those I care about and who care about me. I actually rather enjoy it, because no harm is intended, everyone (including me) is laughing, and I'm getting the attention many of us submissive-types crave. It's also a way for me to be playful without being 'bratty' or disrespectful. How seriously can Master take me calling Him 'ivol' when I'm laughing? [sm=lol.gif] Besides, He calls me His ivol lil devil, so it's all good. [:D] Perhaps the best thing to do in the OP's case would be to have an similar understanding regarding the word 'mean'.
