Lol. What a funny post. Corey Hart?

I dont have a favorit per se.  I go thru phases. Rock from high school can be cool. At the moment- I am listening to easy listening rock. Wave is slightly worn out for now.

What a wonderful thing music is!  Jusat about everyone wanted to be a dj when they were young!

What is it- 43 states get in WLS-Chicago. It might be talk radio now. But in the 70s who can forget "boogie Check!"

And if you remember a show with a clown on it- you figured out Samba and I good times!

Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie something or another. Omg. I just want to strangle her when I hear it, which fortunately isn't often now that it isn't the 80's any more.

chellekitty -> RE: all time favorite/least favorite song? (10/29/2007 5:09:52 PM)

Least all-time favorite:  "Honey" by Bobby Goldsboro.  Makes me want to puke everytime I hear it.  Fortunately, I don't hear it very often anymore, though they were playing it in the supermarket where I shop recently.

Don't have any one favorite, but I like "Wicked Game"  and "Can't do a Thing to Stop Me" by Chris Isaak and "Kiss of Life" by Sade, among others.

Wiseprotector -> RE: all time favorite/least favorite song? (10/29/2007 6:05:07 PM)

I can't believe you people. Clearly, the right thinkin' people's favorite would have to be, "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas.

everytime i hear this song i crack up, i love a man that can laugh at and poke fun of himself

Icon

(VERSE SPOKEN)
Sometimes he kisses girls,
And he make them cry,
Ha! Ha!
Flew in from San Remo to L.A.X.
Three private rows just to lay
My precious head down
So many autographs I can' t keep pace
God bless those photocopied glossies in my suitcase
Young girls are always calling me a classic gigolo
It's not my fault that all these women
Want to chase me so
Don't you want to know me too?
I love to be an icon
Super strong, obnoxious little moron
Yea, yea, yea, hey, hey
Icon, sing-a-long, we can never do no wrong
Yea, yea, yea, hey, hey look at me I'm smilin'
I got so much money this is really quite obscene
Royalty statements come when
I don't even know the Queen
Some say my talent is a scandalous sin
Well I bought a new house just to fit my ego in
I look in the mirror a thousand times before I go to sleep
When I close my eyes, I see my face
Instead of counting sheep
Don't you want to see me too?
I love to be an icon
Super strong, obnoxious little moron, yea, yea, yea, hey
Icon, sing-a-long, we can never do no wrong, yea, yea, hey, hey
Icon, Babylon, super hero, King Kong, yea, yea
I love to be an icon
Jimmy bond, dancin' in this marathon, yea, yea
And now they serve me caviar
O what the hell is a sturgeon anyway?
Now I'm drivin' a big car
I dug a moat just to keep the people away
Look at me I'm smilin'...ha!
Ha! Ha!
I love to be an icon...
Icon super strong, obnoxious little moron, yea, yea, yea
Icon, sing-a-long, we can never do no wrong, yea, yea, yea
You know, you know
I love to be an icon, Babylon, super hero, King Kong, yea, yea
Oh icon Jimmy bond, livin' in this marathon, yea, yea
Oh yea
(Icon)
I'm a tall nasty cobra...
Oh yea mister icon
(Icon, o-o)
(You dug a moat to just keep the people away, icon)
Now they serve me caviar
What the hell is a sturgeon anyway?
Now I'm drivin' a big, big car
(You dug a moat just to keep the people away).

Heartbreak Hotel is by Tommy Durden and Mae Axton - Elvis just covered it.

Maybe you would like the version by Dread Zeppelin better.... [:D]

ELUSIVE1 -> RE: all time favorite/least favorite song? (10/30/2007 2:08:51 PM)

least favorite--I don't know who it is by but the lyrics start out "I Started a Joke"...gawd- at least it is from like the 60's or 70's...never hear it anymore...
I can't pick a favorite--I love Trent Reznor---and I love his little fuck- you- attitude towards his record company, posting all his new stuff on myspace--go Trent!!

rubberpet -> RE: all time favorite/least favorite song? (10/30/2007 2:41:22 PM)

My all time fave is "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.  It may be a little old, but it still kicks ass!  A very close second is "Thunderkiss 1965" by White Zombie.  But I'm an eclectic, diverse mutt when it comes to my music.

My least favorite and the one I simply despise is anything by Norah Jones. [:'(]  Hearing anything by her makes me envy the deaf!

NewJustlookin -> RE: all time favorite/least favorite song? (10/30/2007 2:50:23 PM)
