Hey, what is the fine for this ?

"Playing a guitar strung left handed in a right handed fashion" I believe it is section 1103a of the lefty code.

I think the fine is $25. But I don't have it anyway. Do they take credit cards ?

Okay, any righties out there, take your left hand - put it out in front of you, and spin it in a circle about the size of a dinner plate counterclockwise, now spin your right hand the same way, clockwise.

I don't think righties can do it! Buahahahaha!

I don't know about anyone else, but this righty can ...

oreogirl -> RE: Damn Lefties... (11/7/2007 4:41:53 PM)

This right hander can do it

AquaticSub -> RE: Damn Lefties... (11/7/2007 5:17:36 PM)

I'm a leftie, but I have never had the pen-smearing problem. Dunno why, I guess it is how I position my hand when I write.

Phoenix2raven -> RE: Damn Lefties... (11/7/2007 5:52:42 PM)

Just make sure one hand is going counter clockwise and the other clockwise. You will be surprised because right handed people are supposedly unable to do it easily. More power to you if you can do it!

sylkenkitten -> RE: Damn Lefties... (11/7/2007 6:03:00 PM)

eh? .. I can do it...and I'm a rightie

Some of those stories sound like what my mom used to tell because she was a lefty.  So was her sister and me.  She actually got a job once in a sewing factory because she convinced the boss that sewing machines were made for left handed people and if you stop and think, she was correct.
She must have found a left handed can opener somewhere because my dad and sister can't use the one that was in the kitchen but I have no problem.

What is something you can hold in your left hand but can't hold in your right hand without something being broken?

---->  Your right elbow

(Of course, the "vice versa" applies to your left elbow...)

hitler was left handed and look how he turned out!
self explanatory of why Righties are better than lefties!

freyjasdottir -> RE: Damn Lefties... (11/8/2007 5:41:39 AM)

My oldest UM is ambidexterous, she writes, cuts, sews, etc... with her left hand in Kindergarten the teacher called me in for a conference to *correct* her problem.  I completely blew a gasket, my grandmother used to yell at a cousin for being left handed I wasn't putting mine through the same.  She learned how to use a can opener, she removes the entire lid and part of the can itself by turning the thing sideways, ruins can openers but I just stock up at the dollar store, makes her feel more independent.

Silvar -> RE: Damn Lefties... (11/8/2007 5:51:40 AM)

I'm really surprised that there's still people out there wanting to 'correct' lefties, even in school.  [sm=m23.gif]

They were - and I can do either hand going either way (i.e. left going clockwise, right going counterclockwise or left going counterclockwise, right going clockwise).  Personally, I don't see what's so difficult about it *shrugs*
