i can't help but see the irony in using a cilice made by nuns for BDSM purposes. Wouldn't they faint if they knew?

Hello we can make those ourselves.... I mean I have actually made some of my own toys as I am sure others have.... Go to HOME DEPOT.

But one of the real (i.e. nasty) ones with sharp pointy spikes. Then buy a file. Apply file to points.

All you people. You see some toy and the first thing you think of is how you can pervert and misuse it (Hooray! Good for you!)

I don't think that the cilice is suitable for wrapping around a penis as a few suggested.

But the site also features hairshirts and goathair used in a cilice instead of metal points.

I thought that a bit of goat or hair fabric could be strategically positioned inside a bra (or jock strap for those oriented to such things.) That would also have an interesting effect.

BTW, the site also sells "Disciplines" (in Spanish "Disciplina") that are rope floggers used in self-flagilation.

I can testify from personal experience that these are wonderful toys. I have a graduated set in different sizes (different diameter hemp rope with different length tails) that I use for floggers on others. They work quite nicely.

But the Disciplinas on the site all use modern flogger handles. The traditional "Flagellant's" handle is simply the end of the rope coiled around and attached, forming a loop through which the wrist is inserted.

It makes the Disciplinas much easy to manufacture.
