Well folks, tomorrow is Halloween, which is usually a fairly big holiday for the BDSM community. Play parties, dressing up to go out to nightclubs, special "trick or treat" scenes going on in private homes...
I remember one huge play party in Denver, where I was asked to deck out the space. For three days, I trucked in props, equipment and lighting, transforming a fairly "upscale" looking dungeon into a shadowy, mist shrouded graveyard... all with tombs that were the perfect size to be used as spanking and whipping benches. The buffet table was a mad scientist's lab, and the lights were rigged for an ongoing thunderstorm. The only other light came from hundreds of pillar candles. The music was low, creepy, and insturmental... Everyone had a great time, and I myself got to play with a wonderful couple that night, both of whom kept their "vampire persona's" up through the entire evening.
Do any of you have fond memories of this particular holiday?
