would you expect any less?

Decimus -> RE: Too Much Information (10/30/2007 12:59:05 PM)

Everyone does this but its a dom(me) that takes those little bits of information and hangs it over your head lovingly to "encourage" you to do whatever they wish.

Do we as submissives unknowingly give dominants information that they store away for future use to torture us with?

As a dominant, do you file away little tidbits that get shared through the normal course of conversation? Things that make you go AHA!, I'm going to remember that!

Not me, mist...I am too angelic to do something like that.[sm=flying.gif]

Oh, by the way, my pet wolf spider escaped.  Sorry about that.  Don't worry, he's really social though.  He'll come right up to you... and on you...

Oh My God! I had one of those in my bedroom once. I was lying in bed watching tv and it's shadow was on the wall...it looked like it was a foot tall! It really was a huge spider...it looked like a tarantula. I got a boot to hit it with and when I tried it reared it's legs up at me like it was going to jump at me. I threw the boot at it and ran. I didn't go back in that room for two weeks!!!

bostontwo -> RE: Too Much Information (10/30/2007 6:10:17 PM)

"Unknowingly?" Hell, if any of my dominants ever wanted to interrogate me, I'd run out information to hold back before they finished tying me up. I like the idea of them knowing everything.

Yeah, but on the flip side, the slave remembers the names, the co workers, the time that one guy took their masters card AND actually followed it up with an email, the anniversaries, the birthdays and all that.  Fair trade I'd say. :)

It's much more just a sifting through piles of sand as they wash over me.  I'm a very relational type memory, so I pick patterns up very quickly and easily.  That, combined with intuition, leads my partner to insist that I'm using telepathy even in the times I don't.

I hear everything and make mental notes of everything my slave tells me.  Months later I will recall something she mentioned and she is shocked that I knew that.  She doesnt even remember all the things she tells me but I do.  No such thing as too much information.  The more I know the more, the better.

rofl... You and my SISTER!!! We used to have to share a room. I was the oldest! It was MINE!!! (I just could never get her to understand she was just visiting and her fee was to clean up after me, but that's another story)...

Anyway, one day, she was sleeping late. I took fishing line and those little rubber spiders... tied the line to the spiders, climbed up on a chair and was taping them to the ceiling when my father caught me. He hauled me down off of that chair using the ultimate in parental chastisements - all three of my names... and then, dragging me out into the hallway so that he didn't wake up my sister, said "How many times have I told you not to climb up on chairs like that! Get a ladder!!!"

And he did.

And he held the ladder while I finished my evil little job of hanging rubber spiders so that they'd be at shoulder and... well... if you must know... nose level when she woke up.

Then we went to the kitchen to wait for the screams. It didn't take long.

My father and I about fell out of our chairs laughing. My mother was NOT pleased. My sister STILL reminds me of the damage I did to her.. I just tell her that adversity builds character so she should thank me (usually while pretending to offer her a little rubber spider)

hmmmm... Now, I'm wondering just how *I* wound up being the submissive...

think it's karma?

naaaa... just good clean fun in our family.

Oh I am aware of when I am giving him info.  I am complicit in my own demise.  Actively.

MsPleasure -> RE: Too Much Information (10/30/2007 10:20:43 PM)

Yes, all of the time.

Lordandmaster -> RE: Too Much Information (10/30/2007 10:44:39 PM)

You know the answer to that.  If we weren't filing away little tidbits for future use, we wouldn't be doing our jobs!

Actually I think reading a sub, in the sense of listening to everything he or she says both verbally and non-verbally, is one of the most important things a dom can do.  And people reveal a lot about themselves without being aware of it.

MidnightMaiden -> RE: Too Much Information (10/31/2007 12:01:41 AM)

I made a smart arse retort once about women and farting... I said that women farted flowers and rainbows, and that I in fact farted skittles (a pun on the ad, you know taste the rainbow).  To which I get "Hmmm interesting idea, thankyou".

I am my own worst enemy!

biracalsub4wmDom -> RE: Too Much Information (10/31/2007 8:30:20 AM)

unfortunately, I have a big mouth, and so this happens to me quite frequently.

iammachine -> RE: Too Much Information (10/31/2007 1:47:37 PM)

in short, yes. :)
