Kentucky is on the brink of allowing gambling on a major scale, we all ready have Bingo and the Lottery. Now with the aproch of a new election we may see the legalization of gambling, and in a little nowhere shithole like KY we could use the revenue. Plus not to mention all the new jobs that will be brought into the area. And with the rise in crime that will come with it hopefully my job will also be legalized in Ky.
Now I know a lot of people say that will destroy the natural beauty and rich heritage of Kentucky.
Sorry to say it people but we ruined the "natural beauty" with the blood of the Indians who used to use this state as hunting ground for food. The only "rich heritage" in Kentucky comes out a horses ass.
But this is a personal opinion (and a well founded one at that)
So what do you think? Turn Kentucky cities into the new Las Vegas of let it sit and rot as it is now?

Almost every state has casinos now.  PA fought them, now in promise of lower property taxes we are getting them along 2 of the 3 rivers.  They are fighting like heck to get the 3rd river too.

My brothers ex gf owed a casino 10k. It wasnt good.   Atlantic city is nice on the board walk. Just beyond is a slum.

nah, a lot of states have casino's on indian land.  Most aren't on rivers.  Some are...I guess if a river is nearby they utilize it.
In Omaha..they have a riverboat casino that is part of Harrah's.

That is one thing I liked about PA governor Tom Ridge.  He kept the casinos OUT.

I like Rendell-  'tho he sold out the state for Philly per DSL.
