Status: offline 		I make leather cuffs and collars, and right now I'm preparing for a major event where I'll have a booth. So, cheapskate that I am, I thought I'd use you wonderful folks for market research!

I make a variety of collars, most of them geared at ladies and sissies. What I'm wondering is what kind of collars are most popular. I have two weeks to build some more inventory, and I would hate to build twice as many of a given item and find out I should have built something else.

So, do you prefer bondage collars with multiple d-rings? Simple collars with a single ring for a leash to clip onto? Or sleek day collars with no rings at all?

Status: offline 		OK, since I am first in.  I like simple, basic, clean lined collars.  They are my fetish, actually.  All leather, MAYBE one ring... mainly for looks but able to take a bit of abuse as well.

Status: offline 		Thank you for the input! I just received a new batch of locking posts, so rather than bulky buckles, I can now build locking collars with even sleeker lines. :)

Status: offline 		I kind of like something that is a little unique,,something that has more of an artistic appearance..like..some designs burnt into the leather..or maybe some metal hanging from the collar...maybe leather with a delicate chain extended from the leather to dangle down to a point from the neck to just above the cleavage?..kind of hard to explain what my mind is seeing in words..:0)..hope this helps..Tempting

but would love to just have one special collar one day when i am owned that i will wear all day long :)

Status: offline 		For rougher play, not a fan of posture collars or the big solid metal shackles.  Just thick soft leather with some D rings.  Not a fan of a lot of O rings, one at most.  Something like this one, but maybe a 1/2" or 3/4" wider. 

For lighter play, something simple, maybe 1" to 1.5" wide made of shiny leather.  One O ring. 

For day-wear, those lace collars ladies wore back in the day are just bonerlicious.

Status: offline 		I pefur a thick broad leather collar (not broad enough to be a posture collar but slighty large looking) worn loosly about the neck, just tight enough so I can't slip it off. but hey thats just me.

Status: offline 		I have annoying sensitivity issues and have 'built' a collar in my mind. Something like braided velvet cord (adding some wire for shaping and possible extra decoration) with my emblem dangling in the center. I enjoyed your site but the leather gallery pics didn't show for me :(

Status: offline 		Simple, basic, like an eternity collar.  Although something pretty from Tiffany's would also work.

Status: offline 		I actually prefer the turian styled collars personally, something I can wear at the beach, in the shower, or to a party without ever worrying about having to take it off. When it comes to leather collars for play, I prefer something with some heft to it. Something that I know can take some abuse and use. Wide and thick with a ring or two on it...tight enough that a yank on it really moves my whole body, it doesnt just slide around on my neck. Something that there is no way I could forget it was there or think of as just a necklace.....
