MistressPurpleFL -> For Mistresses I wonder (11/1/2007 6:19:29 AM)

This question is mostly for the Sadistic Mistress but I would love to hear from all who wish to respond.

I am wondering with movies such as Hostel (the first one) do other Mistresses get turned on by some of the violence and sounds that some of the characters in this movie or other movies arouse you?

Scarry movies excite me if they do not make me laugh but I just watched Mr. Brooks and I want the jump his bones.  Mr. Brooks was a great movie that Kevin Costner stars in.  There is not "real" connection to BDSM but it sure excited me.

I don't think I am alone but just wanted to hear others opinions.

Smiles,
MP

I don't get turned on by the violence but the idea of rescuing the person and introducing them to consensual or loving SM is a turn on.

My savior complex is ever present and something I've learned to control strictly because rescuing people rarely turns out well in my experience unless they learn very quickly to start relying on themselves and working seriously on their issues. But it can still be a good fantasy and one I play out in much of my writing.

I make a big distinction between gore/violence/hate/murder and BDSM.  I am a natural born rescuer/caretaker, so my instinct is to protect people from the bad guys, not become one of them.

While in real life I don't Root for the bad guy; what I am asking is does some part of the torture or the mental ability turn you on with regards to movies.  I recommend seeing Mr. Brooks.. it was great to watch as pure entertainment that is.

I am a sadist, so yes, a sadistic Mistress :)

I  must confess Hostel 2, the blood bath scene, conjoured up some stirrings in My loins I tell ya ;)

MistressPurpleFL -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/1/2007 2:08:49 PM)

I actually did not see the Hostel 2 yet; It is not the murdering that I am aroused by but the sounds before.  It reminds me of the whimpering that male slaves have a tendency to do.

Also with Mr. Brooks it was all MENTAL erotica for me.

MistressRouge -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/1/2007 2:12:55 PM)

That is the exact impact for Me also, when My special ones look at Me in a way before I proceed with an affirming act.

I see lots of different kinds of material, films especially. I have a brazilian roman showers/scat dvd that I watch from time to time. The horrified look of the sub girl just before the roman impact, is very visually stimulating to Me :)

RumpusParable -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/1/2007 4:09:35 PM)

The only movie scene of violence/torture/sadism that I've seen yet that has stirred anything in me was the opening sequence of the James Bond film Die Another Day where they showed "Bond" being dunked and slapped around to the sound of Madonna's title track.

But more gore-fests like the Hostel films and such do nothing for me, no.

But then, I'm not a sadist, either.  I've a control kink, so the ritual style of interrogation/violence set to music of the Bond film's bit was more of what got me.

TNstepsout -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/1/2007 6:46:16 PM)

I knew when I read this this morning that I'd recently seen something in a movie but couldn't remember what it was. Now I do! (yippee) (Sorry, I'm a bit giddy today)

I went to see We Own the Night with Joaquin Phoenix. In one scene he is going to visit a drug dealer to see his operation because they want him to sell their drugs out of his nightclub. They pick him up in a car and before they start driving they put a burlap bag over his head. Then the camera shows the view from within the bag.

Scripted violence turns me on. Fights, expecially submission fighting and martial arts turn me on BIG time. Real violence does not...it just makes me sad. There are ways to feed the urges that we have.

actually just watched  Saw 4 and Hostel 2 last night; While there were several scenes that had a BDSM type appeal it was the noises and some of the reactions that aroused me.  I am not turned on by the murder but by the mental aspect of the torturer.. a bit twisted.  Maybe it is really just all the metal objects that arouse me plus the screams.. keeps things exciting but why would anyone want to end the life of their toys??? I love my toys :)

mmmm, shiny things...
And I can't play with my toys if they're not live.. :(   So, no, REAL violence does nothing for me.  I like a good murder scene in a movie, if its done with a lot of psychological twists, mental fucks and not much gore.  Blood can be a turn on but gore is just...*yuck*

Random amputation of limbs does nothing for me, nor does the hamstringing crap seen in Saw, Hostel, et al.

On the contrary, the ballbusting scene in the latest Bond film where Daniel Craig was bound to a chair naked...that was hot.  An added bonus point would have been if LeChiffre's bitchy GF was the one doing it while the villain egged her on.

I dunno....the hot naked scene in Eastern Dreams with Viggo Mortensen all inked up, rolling around in the sauna kicking the ass out of two russian mobsters armed with knives...that was hot.  Blood, sharp objects, tats, blunt impact trauma and nudity -- yum.

MuscleCuteClever -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/3/2007 7:38:30 AM)

I think its the sadomasochistic psychology of it that is on the extreme end of the conventional.  I found interesting a nature program once where a larger female spider ate the smaller male one after a fuck.

MistressRouge -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/3/2007 9:56:43 AM)

I also enjoy vampire films, must be something to do with blood Mmmmmm.

MistressRouge -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/3/2007 9:57:54 AM)

Even films where someone is chasing prey/victim etc, the chase, the adrenalin then the final act.

By the way zombie films I find hilarious [:D]

ladyofthecastle -> RE: For Mistresses I wonder (11/3/2007 5:20:00 PM)

Okay... It has to mean I'm really f-ed up cause yeah. I get very hot from torture and interrogation scenes. Murder I can do without [X(] but hardcore pain I'm there...

Gore is so not a turn on.  I'm with MasterFireMaam.  I LOVE Martial arts films.  Van Damme used to make me cream.  Especially when he did that standing "split".  I also like movies like "Kiss the Girls".  Selection based on special skill, kidnapping, restraint, little mental torment----sigh.
