Heya everyone.  I'm still pretty new here to collarme.com, but I like the community and find this site as a good source to learn about BDSM.  :)

However I would like to meet some people in RL, and have emailed a few people that attracted my attention along with sending them a picture.  I'm not sure why they didn't respond, but I'm keeping high hopes with a response soon enough.  I try commenting on things I like in their profile, giving a brief summary about myself, and I think my picture gets sent to them.  Any other suggestions?

Also, I'm currently stuck in Sandusky (My town) for awhile now, and have very little transportation to rely on.  I probably should mention that in my profile, but I'm worried that since I can't move so easily that this will not attract any Dommes that I'd like to meet.  :(

Not having your own transportation is a serious problem because in my experience the best way to get started in BDSM is to get involved in a munch or educational group where you can meet others and learn without the pressure of scening or dating.

If it is at all financially feasible I'd recommend finding some method of getting into those type of groups. Getting knowledge and getting involved is very sexy to many of us.

If you're looking for a domme, the numbers don't favor you, be very patient.   Be very patient.  Did I mention be very patient?   Keep in mind that women are often innudated with emails on these sites, don't take it personally if they don't respond.  Finally, always take any advice given with a grain of salt (including mine) and make sure it's what fits for you.

<grin>  Also keep in mind that people who profess to be "slaves searching for a Mistress"... "willing to relocate and wishing to be owned" also ignore emails.  I don't send them out often, but, if I have a slow day and decide to peruse profiles, I will occasionally throw out a first contact.  It is interesting to see how many "slaves" won't take the time to send a reply.  Maybe it's because I don't sent, "Get your butt to Denver, your collar is waiting!!"???   LOL

Yeah, I figured that I'm expecting results too early, even when I started a month ago.  I know its a big turn-off to people out there when they know that a guy can't get around easily, but thats just the way how things are for me right now.  :(

I'll keep sending emails and remain patient for a response.  Though I'm quite surprised at how many people looked at my profile after posting that question.  >_>
