I am planning to surprise my Owner by improving upon my ability to massage. I know, for a fact, it's something that she'd extremely enjoy and appreciate. As such, it's another skill that I need to improve upon. --OK, so maybe proclaiming the surprise on a board I know she reads isn't the best idea... :-p-- My question is rather simple: Does anybody know of any websites or books which could help me in my quest? Any advice otherwise is also appreciated. Thanks a bunch in advance.

lol in general I would say suprising your Owner is a bad idea.....but it is hard to go wrong with massages!

FR- I am skilled in Swedish Massage, Sports Therapy, and treatment.. although in this state we are known as practitioners since physical therapists raised a stink... i believe that my skill in this keeps Master most happy!!

Just a suggestion, but most community colleges offer classes in massage. I don't know where you are located, but it's worth looking into. Learning from books is much more difficult than learning hands on... (no pun intended... <grin>) Your Mistress is lucky indeed that you are making this kind of effort without her having to tell you too.

I'd recommend looking at community education organizations. I notice that our local community offers a lot of different 'classes' that very often include learning massage from a trained professional over the course of one to three meetings as a group. I'd also look for a video/DVD over a plain book so you can watch technique. Your mistress is a lucky woman to have a man who is looking at ways he can better himself for her. I know that Fox went to a few of my massage therapy sessions and learning quite a bit though my sessions were far more expensive than if you went the community class route.

I am saddened to think that YOU have never had a massage, done to you. Forget the strive for perfection & technique and manuals, the best way is to usually massage as you like to be massaged yourself ;) Warm oil, a slow, mixture of pressure, alternating between firm and soft circular movements. Maybe a foot massage to begin with, if your Owner enjoys them that is :) Good luck!
