If you go to the top of the list, in OT Discussion there is a post by the owners or moderators. It is called "section guidlines" . In the case of this particular, OT that is, forum, that happened on 1/12/04. At the bottom you can see the "next" link, and after that some arrows. At the end of the line is a double arrow. That takes you to the last page, which chronologically is the earliest. Going there, I found the earliest post, in OT that is, to have been posted on 1/16/04. Because I do not know which topics were started when, consider this only to be evidence of when OT was formed. But in each topic, it seems a moderator had the first word. You can go by that date pretty much, unless you are actually after when someone outside posted first. Also, I have been on fora that go back to when I was a kid. Like Usenet. At any time the archives might have been wiped, or archived and taken offline. Just because you can't retrieve it doesn't mean it does not exist. Now OT was formed in 2004 from what I can tell, and I'll tell you this much, if that was the inception of this site, I am impressed by the number of members here in that short three years. But that doesn't mean that is when the whole forum started. Interesting question actually, so interesting infact, that I will let you find your own answers. Just look at ther categories. Be well and have fun. T
