Hmmmmm   I read the e-mail and did not find it disturbing at all.   Sounded pretty clear to me.   The recipient is not a journalist and twists anything, including nothing, into something it isn't.  So if there is a conspiracy I think it is not on the side of the military but the twisted words of some people

Know what gets me about this article? The DENIAL.

So, what the soldier is saying is that his Email was FORGED. Hmmm, Isn't that some sort of SECURITY ISSUE?

Naw   Forging E-mails is easy.    Anyone can do it    LOL

Well ,for certain people ,things like that, fly right over their heads.

This colonel has stepped in it. The various emails are all from the same computer. The tracking info is conclusive. Therefore someone able to exactly mimic his writing style has sent an insulting and harassing email to a leftist blogger or the colonel is a liar.

          What???   The email reads like plenty of well-directed zings from these forums.  What a whining little bitch Greenwald must be to think he deserves sympathy and/or my outrage because he got flamed.

luckydog1 -> RE: A link between right-wing media and the military?Not a good sign... (11/2/2007 10:07:27 PM)

Now what was it you used to say about people who published an e-mail with out permission owner59?   Who exactly is Greenwald? And why should I demand that taxpayers dollars are spent talking to him?  And I take it now that Leaks (of un classified material with no security value)are to be hunted down now?  Instead of protected as a sacred part of our democracy?

Who really cares if some left winger was told to go pound sand, no interview for him...?

It seems to me the blogger needs a nice block of Vermont Extra-Sharp Cheddar to go with that whine.

Actually, a medal, for showing everyone how often and OFFICIAL MILITARY EMAIL is forged, as the officer is claiming in this case.

We need to tighten down security, and make sure communications are authentic.

PKI should do the trick, of course, there's NO deniability once you crypto-sign a message.
